Have not rated Hind like some others on here.

Would be happy to see him go, seems like a good good bloke and all.

Rate Parker very highly and would be looking at getting him back in the 22 in place of Kent/Lonie.

Would much rather lose Hind than Parker. Likely that neither make it, but Parker still could be a handy player. If we bring in Crouch and Caldwell we see Billings and Gresh spend more time forward. I would be happy with those two and having Butler as the sole pure small forward.

Out of the depth options I think I would keep Parker ahead of Lonie, Kent and Hind. Parker is good in the air which is his point of difference. There is the potential for him to find a spot in our best 22, I feel like them other 3 are just back-up.

There is something about Parker that moistens my undies.. its not sure what it is, but he's just special

Suggested this on the Crows board, assuming we pay Crouch enough for band 1 compo.

Adelaide Trade: Pick 20
Adelaide Gain: Jackson Hatley and Luke Dunstan

GWS Trade: Jackson Hatley, Jye Caldwell and Pick 30
GWS Gain: Pick 14 and Pick 20

St Kilda Trade: Pick 14 and Luke Dunstan
St Kilda Gain: Jye Caldwell and Pick 30

Feel like this could be a win/win/win.

We get our kids without hassle. We find a second for Dunstan. Adelaide get pick 2 and a couple miss. GWS recoup most of their losses from Caldwell and a player they could see walk to the PSD.

That's a good deal for Adelaide but not great for the Giants. Think Adelaide might have to sweeten the pot if we're going to get them that pick 2.

**** look at the names we are getting..if you told me a few years ago we'd have these guys at the saints I'd have laughed (hanners, Ryder, hill, Jones, crouch, Howard) I remember getting excited over Nathan Freeman and Spencer White now I can't keep up

Feel like GWS will be chasing an even mix of players and picks for the group of players they are losing. Cameron, Corr, Williams and to a lesser extent Caldwell and Hately is a lot of pre seasons out the door. They'll be wanting more than just picks.

Don't know how the team will line up but just with 2 addition's we will be far stronger in the young players getting naturally bigger and stronger.

Paton - Howard - Wilkie
Long - XXXX - Coffield
Hill - Steele - Jones
Billings - Battle - Butler
Gresham - King - Membery

Marshall - B.Crouch - Hunter Clark

Hannerbery - Caldwell - Ross - Ryder

Bytel / Sinclair / Byrne

My only concern now is if we have replace Carlisle - we need someone capable - and it is going to cost at least a 2nd round draft pick.

We also need a ruckman but as we know they are scarce as hens teeth and just picking up a player who can be a back ruck forward may be our best bet.
Ben Brown , Peter Wright are the 2 that stand out to me our like Gringo was saying the big guy from the Gold Coast who got scrubbed out.

Surely everyone not in the team above are all on the table.
Dunstan , Lonie , Webster , Roberton would be worth the most.

If we had crouch and gresh in our final maybe we would've won a clearance
Chuck hanners and Jones to wings and flanks where they can link up and burst not up against cotch and dusty
Yep, we had Sinclair at centre square bounce, just doesn't cut it.

Internally people look at Clark and Bytel but I see Gresham as the guy to move to gun status next year as a midfielder.

Ive also thought Dunstan can lift inside to be a very good footballer. Lets see if we keep him.

Considering Dunstan is worth around a mid to late 2nd rounder anyway that effectively trades pick 15 for Caldwell. Does anyone think that a 9game 20yo is worth that even with his upside?

Gags quietly doing the numbers.

Not an ITK but I heard from Greg Williams daughter that Brad Crouch’s girlfriend, Britt Kennedy, will be opening up a New Balance shoe store. The new venture apparently has been funded by Pepper Money and the shop is to be located in the new RSEA park adjacent to the Saints Shop. The business is already bustling, with a standing order to outfit the AFL, AFLW, Saints Academy and Sandringham teams. New Balance is expected to unveil a special line of StK shoes with club colours and player numbers and signatures. The new line is to be sold exclusively at the new store with New Balance agreeing to partially subsidise all items sold to club members.

The new store is to be called ‘Hidden Crouch Rising Together’ apparently.

That build up, though.

Daniel McKenzie contracted until the end of 2022 after not playing a game this year but we wait for a deal for Ben Paton

like in the draft you are picking kids on expectations and with Caldwell we have a kid who already has had 2 years development , where Dunstan has been battling to get a shot in our midfield that is not our strongest point.

Found it telling he picked up 20 odd touches in the first game this year and got dropped , but being a inside mid 6 contested possessions is no where near what is needed and you will see this is a major factor why we have Crouch lined up.

Dunstan is far better than what he has shown and I wouldn't put it past him to take the next step in a change of environment - just might of gone stale fully expect improvement if given a chance at anther club , like a Greenwood at the Suns.
The thing is what we get for him is not worth trading him however keeping a good player who will be battling to break into the side is just going to hurt his career.
Having Crouch , Jones and Gresham as our inside midfielders with Steele he days are numbered mainly due to the fact he can't play anywhere else.
and we all know Bytel will be getting a run next year more and maybe Byrne and I'm not even including Caldwell.

DMac contract is said to be very low money wise and they could easily pay it out if they want , Paton will most probably be getting at least double what McKenzie is on.

Gags is renowned for being a fair man unlike Dorodo and Bell, so I'm sure we intend to give you a good deal. As many have said, I would assume that there has been an agreement to take one of our fringe players for a second round pick but I guess we'll find out the nuts and bolts in trade week.
