Not being facetious but what's the draft like in 2024, 2025 or 2030?..

The idea of potentially picking up a 'diamond in the rough' next year or the years ahead means SFA when there's a ready made gun in this years draft.

We're far more advanced than Adelaide so don't get caught up in that comparison.
PMBangers, eDPS thoughts on next years?

don’t know about next year beyond Subi has about 100 (ok about 5) small/med forwards who should be drafted

I am referring to him as Jason, he doesn’t need a surname.

I see a fair bit of silk Burgoyne in TT. Plays wherever he’s needed to brilliant effect.
I don’t mind TT playing that Hall role down the track but preferably not full time. Something like a 3 way switch, possibly Perez can move up to a wing, stevo comes into the middle and TT moves back. You you could interchange Powell and TT off HB also. Really is the beauty of having so many classy midfielders that can play multiple positions. Going to be exciting seeing how Noble utilises them all.

You don’t play a midfielder capable of going at over a goal a game at half back.

There’s about 5 of them in the comp at the moment.

This.

When was the last time we had a 20+ disposal 1+ goal a game mid? He’s playing Kingy’s favourite “Centre Forward Striker” role.

I had nightmares from that poster on my old brothers Wall as a kid. Scared the absolute shit out of me.

Yep. 2022 R1 > Gibcus

Will be interesting if this does eventuate as the media have painted us as “on track” to improve, but other clubs thoughts could be more in line with reality. Someone gives us a pick between 6-10 for R1 2022 they are expecting us to be around the bottom 2-3 of ladder you’d think. Otherwise it’s a terrible deal for them. Too risky.

When you’re Gold Coast or GWS, first round picks are as about as important as ashtray coins in Richard Branson’s Aston Martin..

Harvey and we delisted him. Believe there were only 3 players in the comp that year going over 20 touches and 1.5 goals a game.

The other 2, Greene and Wingard, got 5 year deals.

The real question when deciding to trade Pick 1 is are you prepared to trade someone that could be Dustin Martin for Luke McDonald and Ben McKay?

Or trade someone that could be like Bryce Gibbs for Joel Selwood and Alex Rance?

Is that how you play this game?
I based it on players meeting potential and a likeness if they met that potential.

People quickly forget that the draft system has got a lot better as the years progress. Clubs are getting better all the time at talent identification.

Go for who you think is the game breaker every god damn time

This was moments after a stunning contested grab. Pack crashing Carey-like chest mark.

Hopefully I can find the footage somewhere. Game was televised.
Ultimately, the shot at goal was marked on the line to the right (sooo… a good pass?). Nice to see him back himself in for the shot though.

When the game was in the balance, with only a point in it in the last quarter, a Port player was basically all alone in the goal square with ball in hand & nobody in front of him. People had already started cheering a certain goal. Jason had other plans though. Does. Not. Give. Up.
Would have been a game winning tackle had we not been screwed out of a victory by the umpires in the course of the next five
