What? I already said Clurey isn't a KPD, read my other posts and why their "need" is actually a KPD and not Dawson. That post was more about Howard I wanted to respond too and Port Power not losing players they wanted to keep.

That’s the problem, he is a KPD for them. I’m not sure why you’d think otherwise.

No they don't, why do you think they went and got Aliir who is 3cm taller and then didn't play Clurey in place of McKenzie (you seriously think McKenzie is a KPD you really have no football knowledge). Clurey got exposed on tall forward in the finals last year.

The trade I struggle to understand is letting Dougal Howard make his way to St Kilda.

To leave Jonas (1.88m), McKenzie (1.91m) and Clurey (1.93m) as your KPDs was a really strange list management decision which is coming back to bite them. They simply cannot handle a forward line with 2-3 talls, particularly one getting good supply.

Its got to do with Wines they were Best Uber Mates buddies until something happened I was told by some pear supporters

May is unique in that he can play one on one and as an intercepting defender. Clurey can't play one on one on the taller forward, why do you think they got Aliir? No doubt height isn't everything but the taller you are as a defender the better chance you have playing on the taller forward, hence you need basic football knowledge about these things.

McKenzie played last night as a key defender & Clurey has played pretty much all of his games as a key defender.
