Not sure why Adelaide would trade a pick 5 for a future 1st. The Pies could finish anywhere in the bottom quarter, and the Crows are also in need of talent sooner rather than later. I think they would want alot more than just our 2022 1st.
Supposed to be some strong top end SOuth Australian talent in the top 5. Will give them two too 5 picks.

Honestly this guy is going to be an absolute gun IMO.

Real Zac Butters & Zac Bailey vibes. Just steps/dances through traffic with ease. Plus that baulk just makes the opposition look silly.

If he does slide and we manage to trade back in, he’s the one I want (assuming JVR isn’t there).

Midfielder
180cm/74kg
31/1/03
Calder Cannons/Vic Metro

A sharp user of the footy, Taylor's trick is his kicking. He rarely wastes a touch and can be relied upon to hit a target and set up the play. The Cannons midfielder averaged 26 disposals in the NAB League this season, with a 37-disposal and 11-clearance game a standout. Although not big, he can make his disposals hurt and is also crafty around goal when an opportunity arises.

Definitely a smooth mover and unhurried in traffic isn't he and being elite by foot is nice as well. Appears to have a bit of toe but also (just as importantly) knows when to put the jets on and when to ease up or move sideways to create a bit of space. Even looks a little Pendlebury-like in terms of freezing multiple opponents and finding an option in a couple of passages of play.

Ned thinks his most likely chance of going in National Draft is to an interstate club given they have shown more interest
He is the sort of kid having missed a large part of this year through injury that we look back in 3 years and say how the hell did he slide to such a late pick
Big bodied kid who is one of the best endurance runners in this draft class

HI Dave know any thing about this guy? looks a very promising candidate that might be around at the 3rd or 4th round

James Willis
North Adelaide, SANFL/Ingle Farm FC/ The Heights School
State: South Australia
Height: 181cm
Weight: 76kg
Date of Birth: 10/07/03

Hard-edged midfielder with that attractive combination of dazzling speed and powerful endurance. Used those assets to have excellent season with North Adelaide at under-18s level, averaging 24.3 disposals, 3.8 clearances and 4.7 tackles in 12 matches. Tough and competitive, he's a contested ball-winner who loves the physical side of the game. A leg injury curtailed the final five weeks of his season and he was unable to represent his state in under-19s matches nor test at the draft Combine.
