Sounds like even if Bont plays he won't be at 100%.

There is NO CHANCE he doesn't play, that's dice they HAVE to roll.Sounds like even if Bont plays he won't be at 100%.
It's why the pre GF bye needs to stay imo.Anyone else seeing the irony - Weightman misses out on a prelim because he didn't duck.......
Seriously though, as much as I dislike the way he plays it's a sad way to miss out on a final.
I'm guessing that when Caleb Daniel has the ball the umpires are counting 30 steps instead of 15 in order to work out how far he has run.
I don’t mind him either. And the free kicks he got against Essendon weren’t a result of ducking.I dont hate Weightman the way others do. I would love him in our side. Hes a cheeky little bugger, but he can play and hes deadly inside 50. This is a big plus for us.
Bont is the best player in the competition. I suspect he will play regardless, maybe under duress, but he is a champion and will no doubt have an influence.
We just back our plan in and we should definitely be able to win this.
Caleb Daniel's dad does some work for the place I work at. He's a hard little bastard who, I'm told, was a genuine wild man at Edwardstown Football Club in his day. He always wears his Bulldogs cap to work so I can't quite tell if he has long grey hair, a long grey mullet, or a Riff Raff do.
But knowing what a rugged dude his dad is actually makes me respect Caleb a bit more. He ain't no silver spooner.
LOL no there's not.you Know for most silver spoon children, there’s a parent or grand parent who worked their guts out.
Yeah that’s not quite how privilege works lol. “Working hard” to become rich is always built on a mix of luck and wage theft.LOL no there's not.
For some sure, for most? Nope.

Don't come here telling us what to do with your patronising bs

We had fewer free kicks than our opponents in 3 of those 5 games lol.
But thanks for dropping by and sharing that zinger.
Throw in the word "exploitation" and it takes you a tad closerReplace "luck" with "land theft" and you just about have it.

The fact he was off when the game was well and truly on the line tells me it was genuine. The whole Bont thing is really interesting.
I'm personally assuming it's all just a bit of gamesmanship on the Dogs behalf.
The guy came off late and he never put ice on the injury.
If you are a professional AFL player with a slight knee niggle you're putting ice on it immediately.
The only options are:
- That he wasn't actually hurt and hence no ice or strapping was required.
- Or that it is real serious, they realise he's gone for weeks and didn't really care.

If it was Dr Gary Zimmerman who made the assessment, Weightman was never going to play. He's the doc with the big bushy beard and afro hairdo and has been a club doctor for around 30 years and is one of the main stays of the AFL Doctors Association.Weightman shouldn't have even been a thing.
They clearly got the 'Don't even think about it' from the AFL.

I'm banking on #1 and expecting him to play and to be at the top of his game.
Could have been genuine, but they could also know by now that he's actually gonna be fine and it was just a knock. If they do know that they would be saying the same things I'd say.The fact he was off when the game was well and truly on the line tells me it was genuine.
You don't leave a player like him off in a game that close.
