Never said they did trades. But they make sure trades happen.

If Bing is OOC and if he wants to get to Saints then it will happen. Connors will make sure of it.

The last thing any club wants to do is to alienate player managers, let alone the most powerful player manager in the game. These managers both advise and facilitate, they are an integral part of the trading process.

Bad blood inhibits the ability of any club to retain and attract players.
How did the player managers go in the failed Daniher to Sydney trade or the failed Papley to Carlton trade, probably as useful as Connors will be in any future Bing trade. I'm sure they pester the list managers daily during trade week but it's not their area. I don't believe Connors will make any difference to what a club pays for Gold Coasts marquee forward, should he ever decide to leave. Connors will just want the trade done so that his CLIENT is happy.

Player managers don't do trades, that's for club personnel, Connors will be busy with his slide rule working out the percentages, probably advising Ben, We can get more if you go to the Bombers, thinking of his player of course.

They yell "show me the money".

They were contracted...

I might give it a run for an hour until the Storm game. Not nearly as useful with some key players playing club finals. Knightmare likes Avery, so one I’m keen to look at. Draper and Wang-Milera a couple of talented boys and Van Rooyen interesting as a young key back/fwd.

I like Draper. Not sure why they have him on a back flank though.

Yeah, useless then weren't they.
I don't even know what point you are making, but people are throwing facts at you and you are getting found out.

Player managers play an integral part in the pre-planning, nomination, and trade negotiation process for their clients, particularly in the more high profile player trades that come around during the trade period.

Everyone knows contracted or uncontracted makes a HUGE difference to the success of the trade requested, but continually gets overlooked when people try to use precedent to support their arguments.

People have given me their opinions, that doesn't make them facts. Player managers don't get the deals done. The deals get done if the clubs come to an agreement. Pretty simple really.

You're either incredibly nieve or deliberately ignorant. I haven't figured out which one...

Any views on the Pies Max Lynch is 23 and played 3 games - said to be looking for other opportunities - is he a cheaper option to getting Ladhams.
Solid ruckman. Not great fwd though so would be more of a 70/30 combo with Marshall than 50/50.
Im not against him completely as is a better version of Hunter but feel Ladhams gives us better balance
