Even North would beat that team, especially if they played CEY ahead of LDU!

Any last minute glimmer of hope info TAFKATMS Mutineer Volbeat?

Are we a chance at The Pou if things fall a certain way?

WHICH PLAYERS HAVE BEEN INVITED TO THE DRAFT?

The AFL has invited 13 of the top prospects to Monday night’s first round at Marvel Stadium, with a handful of notable snubs.

Notably they are the 13 players predicted to go in the top 13 in Fox Footy’s Phantom Draft.

The consensus top four - Aaron Cadman, Will Ashcroft, George Wardlaw and Harry Sheezel - got the nod, along with Victorians Bailey Humphrey, Cameron Mackenzie, Elijah Tsatas, Jhye Clark and Oliver Hollands.

South Australian top-five bolter Mattaes Phillipou will be there in person, as will West Australian pair Reuben Ginbey and Jedd Busslinger, plus Jaspa Fletcher, the second Lions father-son prospect expected to go early after Ashcroft.

The most notable absentees are WA’s Ed Allan, the son of ex-Docker and Hawk Ben, plus Victorian key forward Matt Jefferson and the highly-rated but potential slider Elijah Hewett.

No disrespect - I know you keep saying this, but there's nothing to support it.

They NEED points next year, they have almost no list spots this year, they gave away pick 7 for pennies in the dollar, they could have moved into a better draft, they would have had a tremendous 2023 trade asset ...
I agree.
GC offer up crows 23/1 instead of pick 7 with Bowes.
If Reid couldn't sell clubs on that -if he wanted to keep 5- then he's in the wrong job.
Possible top 5 in a stronger draft, gives them lots of options, so i feel we decided which one we offered.

Our 2023 1st rounder would be looked at as likely to be a far more valuable pick than the other clubs 2023 1st round picks looking to get up the order,

The Roos 2023 2nd rounder we hold would be highly valued by clubs re a swap for a later 1st round pick this year.

Apparently the story is, some players who will be taken in the 1st round, haven't been invited ......the AFL apparently wants some crossovers to family homes & celebrations at being picked .....a mixture of covid presentation & traditional players in the room
