Yes Ma’am.This thread is NOT about Stocker.
Back on topic - 2022 AFL DRAFT!
Thanks all.
Yes Ma’am.
Id be happy enough if whoever we draft, that their surname started with a ‘H’.
#11 - Hewett, Humphrey, Hollands or Hayes
#30 - Hustwaite or Hotton
#50 - Hagan
#67 - Harvey or Horatio Hornblower
Am so.you hidiot
You’ve certainly got an infatuation with this kid, and you say it with such a straight face. I’ve seen him ranked beyond our 2nd pick. He seems undersized and nothing special for mine. Not seeing the love, but I’m just a keyboard warrior.Would definitely take Josh Weddle with pick 10. Think he'd be a fantastic pick up for us.

Only ranked them to 277, pathetic effort, lift!Really big file of draft candidates (updated).
Some info:
- it's an Excel file. I've scanned it, but download/use at your own risk
- This isn't the 'top 275' candidates, rather maybe top 70-80, along with a bunch of others that have either garnered interest, or are otherwise of interest to me - e.g. F/S prospects. In particular, some of the regularly mentioned Carlton prospects & VFL players.
- rankings are calculated. I pull data from maybe a dozen or so sources, and apply a formula to it. It's not me making a judgment on player A v player B (I don't have the skill/experience to do so)
- Don't like how they're ranked? If you want to put up a list of your own, I'll be happy to add you as a source
- I haven't listed sources or the formula on this version of the spreadsheet, don't want to get into any issues with IP.
Absolutely think Martin should be played out of the goal square.

Wouldn't make our midfield quicker but would definitely make it more dangerous.
I would love 2 of those 3 Even if we had to give up a future 1stPhillipou, Hewett or Humprey for me
Liked for the use of 'armchairiest'...I'm not across it this year, and even at the best of times I'm not much more than the armchairiest of draft watchers.
I think as a list, we have potential for top 4 levels of performance in every position (if not AFL levels already) except on the forward flank. Durdin shapes as either/or wing or pocket; either he's upfield delivering, or he's downfield roving. He's still developing, but doing both within a game is a struggle, and he's not a natural accumulator. Motlop looks like a mid without fitness and a bit of goalsense than a flanker, and doesn't seem to have crazy speed. Cuningham needs to get on the park, and his teammates need to trust him and look for him.
At present, if our opposition shut down one of Charlie or Harry, we're done. We need someone else next year to step up and kick 20-30+ goals in addition to what we're already doing, as opposed to someone who's already kicking 15 to improve to 25.
I want half forwards, more than I want wings.
Does make you ponder how good he'd be with a bit more time to work on his explosiveness and power
100% the guy I hope we get!

If he is available, you pick him and the rest will take care of itself in the futureI'd be stoked if we picked him, but someone did make a point that there was a potential strong 'go home' factor attached to him.

At p10 we may get a shot Hewett only, others will be long gone.Phillipou, Hewett or Humprey for me
Well we can dream, Matteas would be an amazing addition to the team, let’s keep the fingers crossed. If he is available, you pick him and the rest will take care of itself in the future
Everyone's a mama's boyI'd be stoked if we picked him, but someone did make a point that there was a potential strong 'go home' factor attached to him.

Currently would think defenders already have their hands full with both Charlie and Harry. Think Phillipou would be fine with the cover early daysI don't know if these highlights reveal his entire footy-craft, Phillipou looks strong overhead, but shows little explosiveness or fast leading patterns.
Would this be exposed by quality AFL defenders?
