We can’t trade our future first, so you probably need to rethink this.
A first round draft pick wasn’t used on him.Why is that? Doesn't Daicos count as a 1st pick?
That's pretty stupid if he doesn't, they brought this rule in to protect teams from blowing up a list which is understandable, Daicos should surely count as a 1st round selection though.
Would you do the trade if it was possible?

Sounds like draft suicideWould you do pick 3 for pick 16, pick 27 & likely pick 12 (2023)?
Sounds like unders.
We traded out our future 2nd for Hill & future 3rd for Frampton, so we can't trade out our future first unless we trade back in a future 2nd & 3rd from another club/sWhy is that?
Bad news...it was a future 3rd for FramptonWe traded out our future 2nd for Hill & future 4th for Frampton, so we can't trade out our future first unless we trade back in a 2nd & 4th future from another club/s
Assuming the consensus top 12 or so are all taken before our first pick I would have the following priorities in this order on my draft board with our first selection -Keeler/Lemmey, Barnett and Munkara would be an interesting mix for us.
I was prepared to be lenient until this. It says it in the title that it’s a form guide…Must be incredible never making a mistake in life.
Because we’ve already traded our future second and third. Why is that? Doesn't Daicos count as a 1st pick?

Yes it was.A first round draft pick wasn’t used on him.
Why Cowan and Weddle?, pretty much just half back flankers, plenty of them available at later picks. Hewett, Hayes and Barnett are no brainers but George has had one major knee injury during the year and has now done an ACL, bit of a riskAssuming the consensus top 12 or so are all taken before our first pick I would have the following priorities in this order on my draft board with our first selection -
E Hewett
L Cowan
L Hayes
H Barnett
B George
J Weddle
Hopefully one might slide to our second pick too
I thought we took picks 36, 38, 40, 46, 48, 55 and 58 into the 2021 draft?Yes it was.
We matched the bid which projected us to a first round pick.I thought we took picks 36, 38, 40, 46, 48, 55 and 58 into the 2021 draft?
I would have traded pick 16 for Tom De Koning, could play Ruck/FWD/DEFPies 1st and pick 27 and future 1st for pick 3.
Sounds like alot but we need star power and need another star kid to build with Daicos.
Best shot is a top 5 pick.
I don't trust Hine to land anything special with pick 16 which will be 17/18 after Academy/FS.
Probably because power ranking is such a stupid term. I'm waiting for someone to release their Mega power rankings. How do people still get this confused?
Yes and no. Buckley clearly fired up the troops by taking micks job and 2010 showed that. A lot of them clearly played for MM in 2010 and 2011. It was a big factor. If I could go back in time I would never take away the succession plan. Dont get me wrong Jolly and Ball were big inclusions as well and maybe we could have pulled it off without Bucks joining. But you would never take away the we want to keep mick factor. Its a poor call to say otherwise imo.

I reckon he has next to zero chance of being drafted by us.
He doesn't suit our style at all - non competitive outside player.
I predict we might pick him.Watching his highlights, Geez wouldn't mind a 195cm midfielder in hustwaite. I'm definitely warming to him.
