AFLW 2024 - Round 10 - Chat, game threads, injury lists, team lineups and more.
Couldn't possibly fit anyone else in our team. It's just too strong.Stacked already!
I dont get it. You have sloane and seeds to chuck on the long term injury list and just try a few blokes out.
Instead the club will stand strong and wait for the return of raging rory sloane. This club is so far off anything.
Rob will also dominate the SANFL.Fogarty still is best 22 worthy, Just not the Tex replacement we all hoped for
Strachan is dominating SANFL level and deserves to replace O'Brien IMMEDIATELY
The club needs to start moving contracted players out as plenty of other clubs do. I don't wanna hear the player needs to agree to it as other cubs don't have a problem telling the player they will never play firsts again in order to get them out. Pay some of their contract if we have to. Milera is a prime example of a contract we need gone.Look at the contract situation we have this year. You'll get it then.
It's a right mess where we're likely forced to move players to the rookie list to free up main list spots, and we made it pretty clear that we weren't going to take a lad without seeing him as a long term proposition last year.
Let's hope so, and that it reminds him how to footballRob will also dominate the SANFL.
I don't know if ROB would dominate anything.Rob will also dominate the SANFL.

I think North may look at Milera if he gets himself really fit and we pay some of his contract. Their list is really bad. Giving Crouch two years was a strange one. Who had all the leverage? The crows. One year deal or seeya, he had no other takers. Tbh I don't think I would have offered him one year as he's not what we need.Good luck finding any club who is even remotely interested in Milera at this point with that contract. That's the risk of giving long contracts to promising kids, sometimes things go wrong.
The thing with getting rid of contracted players is you need to be able to find a buyer. Telling a, let say, Matt Crouch that he's not getting any more games in the first and should look at leaving would just leave us with an alienated lab whilst we run out the clock on his contract as the lack of interest has already been shown.

Davis is a list clogger. Back to the NEAFL next year.Yeah, but I'd hope they'll try to improve their list.
If they want Milera, maybe they'll take Davis as well.
I wonder if the lack of interest for Crouch was due to his injury and the uncertainty of him playing again. Maybe (hopefully) now he's shown he can play weekly he will have some suitors?Good luck finding any club who is even remotely interested in Milera at this point with that contract. Nicks can go then.Nicks bascially said where not taking anyone in the MSD.
It wouldn't be his decision. That would be one made by the list management committee of which he is only a part of.Nicks can go then.
If he said that he’s clearly not up to it.
Yeah on afl 360 a few weeks back he said not happening.Nicks can go then.
If he said that he’s clearly not up to it.
We've got three glaring needs - ruck, KPD, inside midfield.Nicks can go then.

This committee is one of the worst in the AFL.It wouldn't be his decision. That would be one made by the list management committee of which he is only a part of.
Unlike Milera?Davis is a list clogger. Back to the NEAFL next year.
Correct, the SANFL ruck depth is dire currently.Rob will also dominate the SANFL.
Old Matty does tend to go over the top with some of his statements since he's become the Media's draft go to guy.He called him the next Dangerfield prior to the draft, strong leadership qualities also.
You obviously haven't watched a lot of the season 2022 SANFL ruck men running around.....most should be playing suburban level footy so dire are the SANFL ruck stocks currently.I don't know if ROB would dominate anything.
No.just posing the question. Should we have thrown the kitchen sink at GWS last year for pick 2 (that they got from Collingwood) to have been able to select Fin Callaghan and as such we forgo having Rachele
Purely from a list perspective, would it have been a play we should have gone all in for?
Would be Roo, Reid, Hamish, Silvers and Nicks at the very least. This committee is one of the worst in the AFL.
Who's on it?
If we wanted a midfielder specifically Josh Ward was available, went the pick after Rachele or tallish midfielder/forward WA's Neil Erasmus who was also available.just posing the question.
