I thought I might mow the lawns and roast a chook for lunch, your very welcome to mow the lawns for me......
I don't
breakfast & coffee
Richmond game from Q2.
Another coffee
Dogs game, maybe skip the 3rd.
Think about lunch.
Hawks game, maybe skip the 3rd.
Solid plan.

I went out for lunch AND dinner last night, with a bottle of rosè champagne in between.

Feeling a little sorry for myself.

Why is it a massive step back if we lose? It's simply not. Gold Coast are decent, they'll beat teams at home this year. I mean, GC are $2.35, it's not like they're huge underdogs.

Yesterday's games proved just how even things are, North almost rolled Sydney, West Coast lifted to get the win away against Collingwood. We'll drop games along the way, it's a grind, and they won't just be against teams like Melbourne.

A loss will be disappointing but I don't think the result today proves anything either way.
It’s a game we should win and if we don’t it’s falling back into old habits.

I don’t want to lose 1 game this year we should win. Seen enough of that for too long. Can handle a loss to a better team but here we are the better team.

Quite annoying for a powerhouse and attractive team to watch like Carlton to be playing at 4pm on a Sunday, ffs.

Fix this shit, AFL.
Agree, but remember a few years back we got Friday nights based on potential snd ultimately we were shit?
This is an over correction.
A real pity, this side obviously deserves better time slots but we are being punished for the historical garbage.

No, it's not

If GC play to their potential, converting a high ratio of goals compared to scoring shots and we are slightly off, it will result in a loss. Win or lose, it's about our side having/improving good habits, structure and setups, playing a selfless brand.

Last year, Demons lost to Crows, Pies and a draw with the Hawks, games that they would have "expected" to win, but ultimately played a brand of footy for the majority of the year that made them the most dominant side

Win or lose, my focus will be to dig deeper into how we continue to build cohesion

So you can't see us losing a game all season then. I can't see any team better than us 😝🤪😜

Melbourne lost 2 games to bottom 4 sides last year, and drew with 14th.

Were they massive steps back or inevitable blips that routinely come over the course of an AFL season?
