Aaron Francis could end up being dirt cheap. Hell, it's possible that being back in SA would help with his mental health and he could come good, or at least serviceable.

Hopper seems like an extremely good value get (all eyes on Taranto). Along with Rankine acquisition, reckon we'd be top 9-10 next year.

Fact is he's actually not a bad player and if he can get his head right (maybe coming home might help that) wouldn't be the worst decision to pick him up - so long as it's cheap.

The fact that he would be coming into his prime years as a football player as well. If he is physically sound, yes youre right, getting him cheap would be worth a roll of the dice.

But I’d give up our 2nd rounder for hopper!

Its the blueprint that the Eagles Club had in winning the flag in 2018 where the majority of their players were from WA. Not to mention their GF appearance in 2015.

COVID had come for a bad time for them, because they were right nearing the end of the squad that they had that could have won them another flag. Its been well documented that their Club didnt handle the hubs well at all.
