Are Essendon thinking they dodged a bullet or did both Essendon and Clarkson know this was coming and North was the lesser of the two to hurt.

In this case it was suggested to the player to have an abortion. If the girl had gone ahead without any suggestion from the father, nothing would be said and the feminists would be hailing her a hero, but now that it was suggested by another party , abortion is the most evil thing in the world.

I'm gonna need a backstory because no sane person would suggest abortion as a solution to a non problem. A young player getting a girl pregnant in normal circumstances would never be a problem.

I have to agree with your final paragraph and this is a big reason as to why I have doubts over a lot of what is claimed. It isn't even one sane person, it's allegedly 3.

Grand Final week has probably slowed things. So yeah, maybe trade week is a stretch. But we'd know in a couple of weeks.

No investigation has taken place, and the report was received 2 weeks ago. Clarkson et al have received no right of reply, no evidence has been presented and no claims have been tested.

Any conclusion is miles away. And then there are the appeals

You would think Walker, Tippett, Bailey and Hird bans come into play. Given the ABC specifically named them as being present at the incidents that it is likely accurate reporting. So anywhere from 11 weeks to 1 year would be the expectation
