You are right but it’s because we are playing so defensively, Murphy and McHenry offer little in attack. That creates 2 problems for us, first their direct opponent runs off them and intercepts or creates the play and 2 we are playing almost 2 players down.

If we played a player like Newchurch, he definitely won’t have the defensive pressure but if he kicks a goal or 2, his direct opponent will be wierd of running off not to get scored against.

You never get value when you tell the media he’s not required, doesn’t happen

He's contracted, so they either pay up what we ask, regardless of what we've said or they wait till he's a RFA again. Them saying, "but you said to the media in July he wasn't required" won't impact what we accept.
