Can you imagine “look we actually respect what you have done for our club but this bloke is better, much better any chance you could just scadadle ,we even have someone to help you pack.” This will now start to happen, not in those exact words , but it’s how the Club can manipulate a desired result, player gets his back up and says fk u and leaves.

In terms of 1st round picks, whilst I love a good death ride, I’d prefer picks 2 & 8 rather than 2 & Port’s 2023 1st. Then at least we know what we are going to get.

Turn JHF into Cadman & Busslinger. Two KPs sorted for our premiership window of 2026 onwards.

Don’t know how Port would get pick 2 and keep pick 8 though.
