Even if he was solely responsible for a bunch of mistakes, he's loyal and already shown he's willing to change roles. Can only replace so many people.

Re: Bruhn ..He comes from Geelong so no real surprise. Like others have said we have a lot of young midfielders already so he shouldn’t have been a priority anyway.

Yeah I didn’t quite get it either, a 183 mid so hard to see the point of difference; a KPD, a small forward and really good wingers would be my priorities

It'll happen. It's going to be impossible to replace the likes of Selwood, Dangerfield, Hawkins, Tuohy, Smith, Duncan, Guthrie ect in the space of 1-2 seasons.

They have already started replacing them tbh. I’m not suggesting they won’t hit the wall, but they have had far less reliance on the above. Selwood and Danger in particular have been nursed through the year.

I'll be kinda surprised if we haven't had a decent go at signing Gunston for a couple years.
We haven't been linked to him in any of the recent trade news reports.
But I would have thought that our forward line could benefit from a tall with premiership credentials. He wouldn't cost any picks as a free agent. The one thing we have is a lot of is cap space, so we could make a convincing short term proposal to top up his super.
In my mind he would've been a no brainer.
