I'll be kinda surprised if we haven't had a decent go at signing Gunston for a couple years.
We haven't been linked to him in any of the recent trade news reports.
But I would have thought that our forward line could benefit from a tall with premiership credentials. He wouldn't cost any picks as a free agent. The one thing we have is a lot of is cap space, so we could make a convincing short term proposal to top up his super.
In my mind he would've been a no brainer.

It would be great to snag him. But the argument is why would he go to us when he could go to the Pies or Melbourne or Freo who need a tall goal kicking forward and are in the flag window.

All good. We move onto the next name. Clarko won't give a sh*t, nor should we. Yeah, Bruhn SHOULD be a very good player, but who knows? He certainly won't be playing ahead of Holmes, or Smith. Not next year. As I said, being linked to these sorts of players won't leave you heartbroken, if they don't sign. We got the major signature, as coach. Im happy to get logue and Hill as I think they can provide attributes to the list that we need.

The other guys im not really sold on but thinking about it we do clearly need more mature players, I hope there are some other targets we don’t yet know of.

I know I'm dreaming, but I'd prefer Logue and Acres.
