Me too as id prefer to have two first rounders in each of the next two drafts.

23 is a good pick to have.

Pretty sure Brady and Viney said 4 in the draft so that would be 2,3, 23 and Cooper then. Not happy it cost a F2, but we already have 2 First Round picks next year so not as big of an issue.

It’s no 37, but feels like a good spot to sit this year.

We must have plan for our picks in the 40s then. Now way you have picks 2, 3, 23 and then waste 40 and 43 for a harvey bid.
Gotta aim to match it with the worst pick we have imo.

I think there will be more to play out here. Cooper unlikely to attract a bid till late second round at very earliest. We wouldn’t need both 40 and 43 to match. 40 at most and given we will only take 4 draftees it doesn’t make sense to pass on the other pick

yeah this is dumb cos cooper might not attract a bid til pick 50

we need to do some sort of trading with the picks in the 40s, trade into future draft

Those picks in the 40s could be used to trade to teams looking for father son points.

This is probably the root of your frustration. This idea that someone is just going to give us an early second for 40 & 43 because they need the points & good will. Unfortunately it doesn't work like that. Dodoro would have wanted our future second as well + 40, 43 for pick 22.
