Keep our current hand. 2 wardlaw 3 sheezel 40 tall forward 43 Cooper. 40 and 43 will turn into 35 and 38 I reckon we can pip a lemmy or scully at 35
Yeah that would be my perfect draft, don’t think we’d have to take Cooper at 43, i actually think at 35/38 there is going to be a big slider in that range and I don’t know who (there always is). These would be my predictions for most likely sliders:
  • Mitch Szybkowski - tall midfielder who’s good inside with very neat skills, played very well all year without really breaking out. Has continually been the guy to fall down Twomey’s phantom form guides as others with more tantalising traits rise.
  • Isaac Keeler - forward/ruck with high potential, inconsistent performances and in and out of games, moves well for someone his size, athletic & skilled. Maybe not got that aggression you want from a KPP. High risk could see him fall despite talent.
  • Sam Gilbey & Darcy Jones - both very talented, gilbey a half back & Jones a small midfielder that probably will be a forward at the next level, both may drop due to size concerns, Jones small & skinny, Gilbey very slight frame.

Doesn't leave much to match any potential bid on young Harvey. The more i read about "Gorgeous" George Wardlaw the more i want us to take him....and then whichever of the other 3 fall to us. Sounds like an animal on the field .Someone who WILL play for the jumper.
I dont think points for cooper matter.
If we go into deficit the cost will be next years 3rd rounder (37ish) dropping back a few picks. Not a big deal imo.

Schache to the dee's 🧐
Straight weiderman replacement, not a huge problem. Honestly i think we are ok with key backs now and we really need a more physical KF type to augment Larkey , I’d like to look at payne from bris

My house extremely unhappy at Grundy being traded out at all, disgusted that’s for pick 27.
I’d sooner have kept him and JDG and not bothered with McStay

Also pays homage to the enigmatic Brayden Preuss decision to take your ruck craft to one of the few clubs with a modern day HoF grade ruckman still on the list.

I think this was a misunderstanding. I think what the AFL meant was that if the trade went through they'd give Geelong a future second to compensate them for their inconvenience.

"Thanks for playing with our franchise for an hour, I know you didn't really want to."

half baked bullshit GIF
