I’d take pick 80 and 81 over Turner/atu - you just have to look at the rookie draft to see there’s quality better than those two

I was wrong when I said pick in the 80s.

We currently hold 91 and 107.

And we’d be doing it from a position of having a recruitment department that has been 3 people down for half of the year.

As for the rookie draft who was the last one we drafted that was any good and from how shots we’ve taken?

Zurhaar from the 2017 draft 5 years ago?

Then you want multiple picks to be hits this year? It’s highly doubtful.

He's also a 3 time premiership players in one of the best teams in the AFL era.

So he must be doing something right??

He des not fit our age profile and attributing the premierships to Hill is a bit much.

He is not hopeless mate, I just don't rate him as highly as others.

Also, if we had 22 blokes that work as hard defensively as well as offensively, then we'd be one of the worst skilled teams in the comp.

How hard did GAJ, Judd and Dusty work defensively? Can't be good at everything mate.

OK sure, but i'd suggest we are already the worst skilled team in the comp.

Hopefully this will change as we phase out the older guys and bring in more young talent.

And that’s why our recruiters got the ass

What is liam Henry worth and do we want him?
Hasn't exactly set the world on fire so far.

I haven't paid much attention to trade stuff yet, but is there a reason Freo have so many players wanting out?

Lobb wants to move back to Victoria, something to do with his better half.

Logue wants to be a genuine Key defender but is stuck behind Pearce and Cox.

Acres wants more money and better terms because Freo low balled him.

Tucker wants senior opportunities as it seems many have gone past him in that midfield mix (Serong, Brodie ect)

Henry wants senior opportunities but is stuck behind Walters, Scultz ect.

Meek is stuck behind Darcy and most likely Jackson.

Really don’t think there is anything toxic going on at the club, it’s all genuine reasons for wanting to leave.

Has been pretty consistent at WAFL level this year, but always seems to struggle when he takes that next step up. Hard to gauge his value because he was a first round pick, but has hardly shown anything at AFL level.

Suspect Freo would want far more than most would be offering.

Hill is a massive downhill skier.

Don't want him anywhere the club.

IF he comes, then it’s because Clarko sees him as a role player to introduce his game plan and system.

It’s not 2017 again trying to attract players, he is targeting specific skills to get the system going and develop/ draft into that.

I’m ok with that! Whoever he wants. Personally I think Hall can do it already snd he won’t be coming but who knows

Something like pick 19 and 55 for Logue and their second is probably fair, although he cant get a game in their back half and they say it's because they have 6-7 better defenders.

Cox, Pearce, Ryan and Chapman are all guns. They're stacked for KPD and intercept types.

\That is a fair point and I accept that, well said.

Again, for me its a definite no, but if Clarko wants him then sure, so be it.

Doubt there's much opportunity to get a small forward spot with the likes of Schultz and others roaming around.

Is there a good source out there, that people trust, who can give relatively unbiased assessments of a players trade value?

Like, how much is a reasonable price for Logue, Hill, Bruhn etc.

Yeah pretty much bang on.

Henry's not going anywhere though. Contracted for another year. Is playing on the wing in the WAFL now so he's not competing with our small forwards. Acres leaves then he will be the next player in for that wing spot. That one is just Colin Young trying to extend his contract with freo beyond 2023 and getting knocked back till Henry actually shows anything decent.

Meek and Tucker are the most understandable. Tucker's found himself behind O'driscoll on the wing who's played about 10 games. Plus hasn't shown anything when he comes into the team. Will do good somewhere where he can play a proper midfield role.

With so many quality players flagging their intentions to move Clubs - our first pick in the PSD could be the best in years.

Players often burn bridges trying to get out and if there is plenty of movement - there may be limited draft capital to go around. That will increase the chances of Clubs coming to loggerheads over player values.

Quality players don't want to land at the bottom team - but one led by Clarko is a whole different ball game I would have thought.

We might be a sneaky chance of landing a good'un through the PSD.

Thanks for the insight. Classic Colin Youn shenanigans, I honestly can't believe that elite athletes chose to have him as their manager.

Henry on the wing explains the 20+ disposal avg at WAFL level.

Shame about last night, would've loved it if Freo knocked out both Collingwood & Sydney to make it to the granny. Plenty more finals to come for your up and coming midfield.

Logue is the best uncontracted player we have been linked too.
He would save us the most draft capitol by taking in the PSD.
Only thing I can see better is if the Taranto deal falls through and we can grab him. Which is even less likely.
I hope we use it this year. We need to pull every lever we have access too.
Playing nice wont push us up the ladder.
