It basically just says that in the press conference he said that he expects answers from their players soon so that they can be prepared for their moves. And it again mentions North as Logue's main suitor. But only a mention. No details.

It feels to me that deal isn’t important for us (or even on the cards) but that’s just gut based on some of our other mooted targets and re-signing Hall.

While not much, I think this bodes well for us re Logue. If he hasn't re-signed yet, he's not going to now with a week to go (based on Longmuir's comments).

Different circumstances. We know Bailey is most likely staying and a new contract is a formality, while every major report linked to Griffin is that he wants out. Whether it is to us is another thing.

Haha I’m fairness, I feel like that hypothetical aside, the Freo board’s expectations of the Logue trade are much more realistic then the Saints wanting a top 10 for Clark and 19 for 900k Hill.

Haha. Hill would be nice to have. But if its any more than a 3rd rounder I'd hope we don't even consider it.
Our future 3rd is basically a late 2nd round....pick 36 -40 and that's about fair

He's also a 3 time premiership players in one of the best teams in the AFL era.

Also, if we had 22 blokes that work as hard defensively as well as offensively, then we'd be one of the worst skilled teams in the comp.

How hard did GAJ, Judd and Dusty work defensively? Can't be good at everything mate.

We have f*** all draft capital and it appears most of our players are wanting to stay.

So I assume it has to do with list spots and not knowing what sort of picks we’d be looking at filling them with.

Currently we need 2 list spots. Pick 1 and Cooper and given that Cooper would wipe out most of the rest of the points picks we have that third player would likely be a pick in the 80s? More cuts more later picks to fill spots.

We desperately need the draft assistance so that we can cut for quality and not for wild speculation.

Just don't want Hill even if free. We have a number of players: Scott, Taylor, Stephenson, and Goater for starters who all could make a wing their own.

If you're going to bring in a player who is post 28+ they need to be best 22 (which Hill probably would be) and be a very good onfield leader (debatable).

If we got Logue for a PP at pick 19 plus change then we've done very well. Remove the TT part of that discussion and that's a more than reasonable deal from the Freo board.

Something like pick 19 and 55 for Logue and their second is probably fair, although he cant get a game in their back half and they say it's because they have 6-7 better defenders.

I’d take pick 80 and 81 over Turner/atu - you just have to look at the rookie draft to see there’s quality better than those two
