A) They arent breaking up 2 so they can give 8 and 12 to Melbourne
B) 8 and 23 is still not as good as 13 and F1
C) They arent giving up their future 1st

D) Jackson doesn't want to go to West Coast.

E) WCE don't have the cap space

I don't reckon WC agree to that. They will want more than 33 for Rioli.

Yeah but when reporters starting throwing this stuff around, they basically just mean everyone is involved. Mine is going to be miles off whatever happens (if it does) anyway

What do we get out of trading Lobb? I've yet to hear one convincing argument for trading him.

Personally think Port make out like bandits.

North say no to 8 and F1, but by Port bringing in others they land JHF, Rioli and Ratugolea and still only give up 8, F1 and F2.

Someone getting the short straw…. But I guess if Port is clever enough to bring in multiple sides they can dilute it.

Jackson for Ports future first and 12 is better than we want to stump up. But Jackson would need to want to go.

Personally I’d keep 2 and take Sheezel or Cadman

Port every chance to finish above us next year. I'd say its an almost identical trade.

The main issue for WC is that they need midfield grunt, so shedding the 2 First rounders for Jackson doesn’t get them that.

They basically need to go to the draft… but having said that they were talking Houston a while back, so they are mere doubling down, and still think they are in the hunt for a premiership… De Nile
