So that values Rioli at about pick 48.

How the f**k do Eagles fans honestly expect to get any better for him? :drunk:

What cards do they think they're holding here? Was drafted at pick 52. He's 28 next season, out of contract and spent two years out of the game for his own stupidity.

Only consistency he exhibits is being overweight.

Averages just on a goal a game. Wasn't even in the top 10 in their B&F in their worst season in history. :$

I have never had a head for maths. All these calculations re pick swaps, draft points etc is beyond my ken.

I dips me lid to all of you who can fathom it.
From a few seasons' back but I don't imagine the points values have changed much?

Eagles receive: picks 8,12 & 19

Eagles to offer pick 12 and 19 for LJ.

Source: Whovian

If that is how it ends up, our offer is still better than #12 and #19. Our future first could be anything and in a stronger draft.

I just can't see the Eagles offering pick 8 as they'll want to pick up a quality midfielder. If they caved however, (i.e Pick #8 and #19 or a future second), it's closer to the mark but still think our two first rounders trump it.

Interesting how it plays out. I'm happy regardless if we get Jackson or not. Just as long as we don't pay more than 2 firsts.

Lets ignore it was Tom Browne

Port
In: Ratugolea, JHF, Rioli, F2 (Geelongs)
Out: 8, F1, F2, 33, 43

WC
In: 8, 12, F2 (Port)
Out: 2, Rioli

Geelong
In: 43
Out: Ratugolea

North
Out: 1
In: 2, 3 JHF, 21

GWS
Out: 3, 12, 18, 44
In: 1, F1 (Port)

Brisbane
Out: F2 (Geelong), 21
In: 18, 44

Who have I duded here?
I reckon GWS have gone backwards in that deal, they already had almost 3 firsts plus 44. Where have they benefitted ????????????????

Eagles aren’t getting F1 as well. F2 yes.

2 > 8, 12 is pretty close and F2 for Rioli. Later pick swaps in play. West Coast will want another pick for 2023 after splitting their No. 2. They have 20, 26, 40 already.

8, 12, 20,26,40 - don’t need anymore 2022ND picks.

F2 for Rioli.
I just don't see where this asking price is coming from?

He's out of contract, was pick 52. We had to sweeten the deal for Logue who was a top 10 pick for a future second after he was top 5 in our B&F.

On what planet is an out of contract Rioli worth a mid second round pick?

I just don't get it.

WC are so used to everyone bending over for them in WA that they forgot that the rest of the country don't give a **** about them.

I can’t see how a deal possibly gets done for Lobb now unless they get super desperate.
Going to get absolutely screwed over if the Dunkley deal goes ahead, and then going to get Rheemed again buy us if they cough up half the Dunkley currency.
Get way unders for dunks and pay way overs for Lobb! Yuk

If the Dunkley deal goes through it will include pick 21. That's enough for Lobb.

They still have 30 and 39, which I would accept as well.
Well, doggies have had their list management moments too, namely scoring Treloar in the manner they did.

We've been roasted plenty in the past, so I've got no guilt in passing on the favour, especially to a Vic side.

No surprise the only one in disagreement is King, can guarantee his opinion would be different if it wasn't Fremantle, an absolute tool.

King - " Melbourne wants to keep Jackson, get the deal done Fremantle" King again after 5 seconds..."They will bend " (regarding Lobb)...
????? Does Fremantle not want to keep Lobb? .. It should be opposite, Jackson out of contract and Lobb contracted.. Melbourne to bend Dogs to get the deal done if they want Lobb (he is contracted)

I thought the theories of King hating Freo were OTT, but I'm starting to believe. He certainly has a bee in his bonnet over something.

Melbourne will end up taking whatever our best offer is. Hopefully it’s 13 and F1 at worst and that’s it.

Question is: Can Jackson put a price on his head for PSD? Like 3 million for 2 years… knowing no one will pay that, including Eagles.

We do, but then restructure his contract after 1 year?

Completely dodgy but could it be done?
