Nothing like the journo’s throw out a Super huge mega trade just before the weekend.

Gives footy obsessors like us all to work our magic for the weekend with pick swaps and players.

In reality it looks like a 4 club trade involving North, WC, Port and GWS might actually happen.

Why not chuck in Geelong, Brisbane, WB, Freo, Collingwood and Melbourne. Additional players including Esava Ratugolea (to port), LJ (Freo), Lobb (WB), Bedford (GWS), Grundy (Melb), Oliver Henry (Geelong). Heck GCS wont like to be left out to grab a few Future picks and include Fiorini, Bowes and Sharp.

10 Club Super Mega Humongous Colossal Enormous Gigantic Crazy-big TRADE. Get to work…

Not sure we need another 19/20 year old KPF if I’m blatantly honest. If Lobb leaves I’d still draft a KPF but it’s not going to fix the problem that’s there in 2023/2024.

As I’m been saying since the middle of 2021 Amiss is a much better prospect than JVR. I don’t think Treacy is that far behind JVR tbh.

JVR’s athleticism concerned me when I saw him last year. Some guys at AFL level get away with it but they’re usually around the 2m mark which JVR isn’t. JVR has better football ability than Treacy but inferior athleticism - hard to know who’ll be better imo. Amiss has them covered in both areas quite easily imo.

I don’t place much weight on VFL performances tbh. Guys like Schache and Burgess dominate at that level FFS. A guy like JVR who’s built like a man already and has good football ability will come in and score goals at state league level quite quickly, just like both Treacy and Amiss have already. Let’s wait to see JVR at AFL level before declaring him a gun.
I like that he can be KPD depth too

I like the shape of this 10 Club Super Mega Humongous Colossal Enormous Gigantic Crazy-big trade

Can we include a couple of AFLW swaps and maybe an A league and make things really interesting?

The Colossal opens thing up. Draymond Green is clearly not happy at Golden State - he’d be handy in the ruck.

Holy shit I just saw a lions fan on Twitter bagging out the dog for being unreasonable on the Dunkley deal.
Wait for this - he said the dogs have short memories, they got Schache from brisbane on the cheap a few years ago and now should return the favour!!
The same Schache that will probably be delisted in a couple of weeks!
Imagine comparing Dunkley to the Schache trade 😂😂😂😂😂😂

First question. Are we trading Lobb?

If yes, we should trade our future first to Brisbane for their best second round picks this year and some future picks, just really gut them.

They trade our F1 and their own to Dogs.

Dogs trade it back to us for Lobb.

Then we get #21 +++ for Lobb

If we aren't trading Lobb, never mind

Confused Steve Urkel GIF

He may not be going. We really want to keep him.
Doesn't make any sense to me unless we are worried about Darcy in the future

If Darcy is injured then Jackson rucks and Treacy does fwd/ruck

if both injured then sure we need Meek but surely that won't

I’m certain Lobb will be gone by Wednesday night. I’d be amazed if he still a freo player by then

Can you make this a little more MeGa? Cos then I'm in.

Don’t mind Daniels as a sports writer / journo. Despite being an Eagles man (confirmed when I had a few beers with him at a Bucks do many moons ago), he’s actually pretty balanced.
Even better article coming out tomorrow if you're in the "keep Lobb under basically any circumstance" team

I’d just trade out our F1 to whoever for their highest bid.

Then offer Melb and F2 from north and leave it at that.

I’d prefer to bypass this years draft and stock capital next year. We will get Gold Coasts first if we have enough round 2s so that they can bank points for their academy.
