Except when a side decides to go man on man and actually defend Cox, then the only other option is to go long to Darcy and 6 people jumping at the footy. Unfortunately Sean just doesn't win enough of those contests and it's unfair to expect him to even when its clearly not working. The Collingwood game was a great example of how predictable we are at kick insI like the way Ryan kicks it to Cox over and over. They have a thing going on with kick-ins
Regardless of the Logue situation, Freo were never going to trade Lobb for a 3rd round pick. Reckon Young has misled the dogs on that front, the way he misled GWS last year. The whole thing is very poorly put together. If Lobb really wanted to get to Victoria next year, surely Young would be shopping him around to all the Victoria teams, not just the dogs.Logue is a rich opposition player.
He might have expected Logue to eventually sign with Freo until the monster offer came he couldn't refuse
Are you his dad? For pointing out he played well......sure, that makes sense
You're allowed to not rate him, but your constant negatively about him is tiresome
Multiple clubs rated him, Brisbane, Swans and Tigers were interested. We were very keen to keep him even during the trade period.....so maybe he's not s**t?
Oh no, did I hurt your feelings? Should I expect you to inbox for me insults 5 hours again without getting a single reply from me?
Yep that's me........offended when my team wins, not happy, but offended, you got me sir.LOL!
I can’t recall it fully, but recall you thinking we’d lose to Brisbane by 50 and I called you out prior to the match. Then you got all offended when we won. You bagged me out on the threads because of my ‘optimistic’ nature. Then we won!
I’ll post the 5 hours of messages shortly. There was 3!
That's one incredibly inaccurate and biased side of the story, but sure.If you're going to make accusations let's at least lay all the cards out there hey? Below is my '5 hours' of insults.
Context - I had an overly optimistic view towards games. You were overly negative. You thought we'd lose to Brisbane by 50. I called you out before and after the result. You then kept having a go at me on various threads after the game. I simply PM'd you as to not clog the threads with back and forth. You may not have replied to my PMs, but it didn't stop you from still having a go at me on threads at that time. My messages via PM would make that seem clear to anyone with a brain... not 5 hours of insults as you allege.

Where do I send the trophy for winning a discussion on the internet?
Yes!Why can’t we have both?
That's one incredibly inaccurate and biased side of the story, but sure.
I'm happy you felt the need to share your messages with me, doesn't exactly paint you in a good light.....
So again, would you like to get back on topic?
Wouldn't call it a reality check, it's the reality of contracts.Haha so the dogs are only offering a third round pick for Lobb?!
Bit of a reality check for a lot of posters around here.
30 year old hit and miss key forwards don’t go for first round picks.
As was the case all along, Lobb is worth about pick 29, if he was OOC.
Having a year to run probably gets his value up to around pick 25.
That’s a fair valuation without purple tinted glasses on. Talk of first rounders or future firsts is just wishful thinking. The dogs aren’t that silly. The fact that they are being absolutely pantsed by brisbane in the Dunkley negotiations doesn’t help us either.
We could of course keep him and lose him for a token pick in the 50s next year. I still think he will be gone on Wednesday night but I guess we’ll see what happens.
Contracted it not they aren’t going to pay much in draft capital for a guy that will do well to play 60 more AFL games.Wouldn't call it a reality check, it's the reality of contracts.
Dogs aren't going to get fair value because Dunkley is out of contract. Same reason GC are asking for a second round not best 22 but contracted Sharp.
Same reason we want overs for a contracted Lobb. We're not being unreasonable, we're playing business
'He ran 7.70 seconds in the agility test at Margaret Court Arena, eclipsing the previous record held by former Fremantle star Stephen Hill, who ran 7.77 seconds in 2008.Darcy Jones is 175cm and 63kg. He’d have to be next level elite to even be considered in the second round tbh.
Some on here would say Thorne from Peel is pretty damn good at footy yet he’s a similar height and weight to Jones and AFL clubs never show any interest.
Just why would you pick a club that doesn’t need you? Why not bombers or saints?Same source as always?
I find it incredibly hard for Young to allow Lobb to buy a house knowing that dogs were going to offer something so piss poor, surely they had a breakdown in communication, geez
I trust your work too so this is just incredible if its the case
He won't sit out a year, Lobb wants to get paid more than anything, his next contract will be his last and if he doesn't play he will be getting sweet **** all offers from clubs. As Lobb is in contract, we’re not obliged to trade him, right? If he decided to sit out next year, we would still be paying his contract to do nothing?
With Drizz, Freddy, Aish and the possibility of even Walker going on the wing. Is Sharp even a need? If he’s expensive to get maybe just wait a year?
I feel like we need a little win on the Jackson trade. Been smoked on the other trades due to our players being out of contract. Jackson is no different.
Cal's rankings from Sept were as follows:
- Ashcroft
- Wardlaw
- Tsatas
- Sheezel
- Cadman
- Humphrey
- Clark
- Ginbey
- MacKenzie
- Jefferson
- Phillipou
- Hollands
- Hewett (Fremantle's current pick)
- Busslinger
- Davey Jnr
- Fletcher
- Hayes
- Konstanty
- Hotton
- Hustwaite
- George
- Weddle
- Cowan
- Gruzewski
- Michalanney
- Burgiel
- Keeler
- Allen
- Clarke
- Szybkowski
Get Jackson done, trade Lobb and North's F3 to the Dogs for their F1, trade that pick to GWS for pick #19.
Pretend to take offers before the second day of the draft starts.
'He ran 7.70 seconds in the agility test at Margaret Court Arena, eclipsing the previous record held by former Fremantle star Stephen Hill, who ran 7.77 seconds in 2008.
Jones was also the joint winner of the standing vertical jumps test, leaping 75cm'
Pretty impressive for a little fella.
Lol suck shit Dees.Got some intel on Trent Rivers from a relation. He is homesick and will probably want to come home next year after he finishes up his contract. He loves his teammates but misses home and his family. Big Eagles supporter so they are probably in the right part of a rebuild to get him but he is also big mates with LJ and would be ok going to Freo as he just wants to be in Perth.
