Our first round picks aren't great picks. Aiden O'Driscoll isn't as tall as his brother... yet... we should get him with a pick after 20 next year anyway.
With Logue leaving and Pearce being 27, you don’t think we could use Busslinger as a developing KPD? If our list wasn’t so unbalanced already, I’d argue this is the perfect time to be looking for a Pearce replacement in 3-4 years and provide short term injury cover.

His colts stats look good, similar player to Nathan?
Averaged 20 possessions and just under a goal a game from 6 games for Perth this year. From the stats alone he looks to be a steady improver like Nathan as well.

I'd describe Aiden as a flashier forward than Nathan before this season at AFL but Nathan kicking those goals from the boundary is pretty special. Maybe better to say Nathan creates his goal with work running towards the goals and Aiden creates his goals with work running from the goals towards the middle. He isn't as big but I think he has more tricks.

Just think about his career, was on the news, heading towards a comfortable retirement.

Now he’s literally throwing out tweets, for a few bucks from the WCE.

He should be planning his free time, but he’s probably been dumb with his money and now is desperate. He’ll do anything for cash now.

I’m 100% confident he knows it’s bullshit, he doesn’t believe it, hence why he’s blocking everyone that’s negative. He’s probably down on himself ending up where he is now.

Don’t be angry at him, be sad. He was in a great job, which he lost prematurely, in most professions your best monetary years are late in your career. He’s essentially shaking a can on a corner now. Except the can is inflammatory tweets.

I’d throw him a dollar if he came to Freo and busked.
I missed what he said? Did he tweet something else ridiculous?

I think if we draft Busslinger we will play him as a third tall forward, I'm not so sure he has the body on body game to be a key defender but that marking and reading the play is useful everywhere.

Regarding Jackson - As long as we give up an an upgraded first pick this year and a second this year or a F2 - I am happy with that trade.
I would take Jackson after 3 years development in a heartbeat for that currency.
There is not one player touted in the Top 13 that massages my balls.
After 13 - 28 - there should be a Busslinger, Lemney, Keeler, Hewitt or Ed Allan whoever of those I’d be stoked…
Really want to keep currency for next years draft, not keen on the WA elite talent being out of reach with crap picks next year.

We could do with a player like that on our list.

Anyone else find it weird there’s no criticism of West Coast picking up Jayden Hunt?

The guy will be 28 early next season and will be playing for a team that has almost no chance of making the eight. I don’t think West Coast will be as bad as people on here think but they aren’t a top eight side and will be losing many of their better players to retirement over the next 2-3 years.

Weird player for them to pick up imo.

Does it signal to anyone else that West Coast are going for one last try with the Nic Nat, Hurn, Shuey, McGovern group?

Hope so. They’re no where near it.

Will probably sit about 11th-14th next year but won’t improve much given all those players plus probably Darling, Cripps, Gaff and maybe Yeo going in the next three years too. Probably looking at losing 2-3 of their better older players for the next 3 years tbh.

Seems pretty delusional to want to win a flag whilst that is happening. Their youth, outside of last year’s draft and Allen if you consider him youth still, is dire.

Then they are fools. They will bounce -- but not that much. They are going to waste the next year or two around the mid-to-top-half of the bottom 10.

It will then take them years to rebuild back up.

Their supporters are going to have to find new hobbies until around 2028.

History says at worst 4 or 5 of the top 13 in the draft are going to be absolute guns in future.

It's truly bizarre.

Treacy has been working his absolute arse off ever since he got here from the bloody rookie draft and then these campaigners are going after him for no damn reason.
They all said they knew nothing about him & then proceeded to have an opinion which is contradicting in itself. Gossage then tweeted he needs to work harder fact. Opinions are not facts. The facts are he’s had an interrupted seaon with injuries & illness. Gossage is a goose

Facts are Goosage is a ****wit and I’d give an actual donkey’s opinion of football more weight.

Agreed, but which of those would you take over Jackson this year and which of them fills a need?
I like Cadman and Jefferson for a needs pick but I wonder if we can’t and/or don’t have this type already- although Jefferson stood out, he would take 3 years to come on.

There are a couple of WA KPP’s next year I would target in Tholstrup and Curtin, both well developed for age, could push into AFL in their second year - but a bit early to tell until next year.

A lot of mid sized mids predicted early this year, that’s why I really want to see what Ed Allan can do at the combine, massive mid, if he stacks up, can play mid- half back/half forward/ wing…with a pick around 15-20 he projects as a need, just hope we have a pick and he is still available

What a strange outcome. I presume Richmond want to move him on so the tour of Alberton was purely for Graham to look around and meet some people. What did he discover that changed his mind? Did they forget to empty the bins before they all went on holiday? Did someone leave a wet towel in his new locker? That would put me right off. 🤢

Jayden Hunt going to West Coast is truly one of the most bizarre moves I've seen in recent history, who knows, maybe the Toast get a long sleeve back now with him.

Someone said he called Treacy lazy. The kids had a groin injury followed by glandular fever. Hardly lazy. Was training his ass off in the preseason until he got injured.
haha. he's probably the least lazy young KPF i've ever seen. his run, chase and tackling is phenomenal for a guy his size. actually does it too much so he ends up gassed and out of position! haha. Goosage

Eagles have flogged their older stars to death and are still flogging that carcass.. rookie mistake 😂
Nisbett has lost it .
I think they are trying to do the replum rewire restump like we originally tried. It will take a heap longer to get back in the 8. They may snag 8 wins next year and the year after and the year after that and may just plod along with mediocrity.

Fingers crossed they become the definition of mediocrity in the AFL. They have only rebuilt twice in their history and did it successfully but they seem reluctant.

This Fish Whiting clown that writes for AFL.com about brisbane and GC would literally write an article praising the suns list manager if they traded pick 1 for Connor Blakely!!
It’s outrageous that less than 3 years after this club was handed pick 2, pick 19, pick 11 and free access to the NT players, they are now giving away pick 7 for basically nothing as a “list management strategy”

What a dysfunctional joke of an organisation.
Ben king will probably be back in Melbourne within 2 years anyway and it will all be for nothing.
Farce.
