He also kept him to 7 touches and 1 goal, just the lazy two touches in the second half when they dominated us, not bad.
Also kept Jezza Cameron scoreless and beat Curnow earlier in the season. All things considered, he did quite well against Curnow at Marvel given how hopeless our midfield was, Curnow should've kicked 8 with that quality and quantity of delivery
He's a good defender, obviously not worth $800k, but it's obvious why they offered him that much and it's understandable why he left, so I don't understand the childish approach you're taking with him
Which is what I expect will happen, if he is rated a pick in the 20s the Eagles have two of those - unless we trade something with GWS to get hold of #19 they might just get him first. So long as he doesn't win it playing for a team that his father didn't play for.
Any danger GWS could want back in to the Lobb trade??Which is what I expect will happen, if he is rated a pick in the 20s the Eagles have two of those - unless we trade something with GWS to get hold of #19 they might just get him first.
If he is rated in the 35 to 40 range, different story but Allan is a unique prospect, like Jackson. We could set up a land of the giants midfield with our wingers at 195cm+ and agile enough to match their smaller opponents.
Any danger GWS could want back in to the Lobb trade??
Jared Polec was also a top 10 pick (#5), also got a $3.5m deal at North, and has so far has played 148 games and counting.Lol - a bust. He’s going to play 200 AFL games at least over his career and has just signed a $3.5m deal over 5 years but you think he’s a “bust”
Gallucci at 15 is a bust - now a part time footballer at south Fremantle. Some fall from grace after 6 years.
SPS at 6 will probably be delisted next year - bust.
Setterfield at 5 scraping around OOC at Carlton and trying to get to Essendon on base wages - bust.
On that - is there an actual offer on the table from WB?Not until Colin Young opens the floor to offers outside of Bulldogs.
North could.Right, but aren’t we confident / comfortable the Weags can’t afford him?
Ok, so this “frustration” that he is apparently experiencing, and being so widely reported, is based on our not accepting a non-existent offer? To Rory there is.
They offered pick 30, we said we’re not trading him.On that - is there an actual offer on the table from WB?
I’ve been told it’s a third rounder, which is laughable. How can you woo a bloke all year to come to your club, and that’s the best you can offer. Pi55 poor by the dogs and young.Ok, so this “frustration” that he is apparently experiencing, and being so widely reported, is based on our not accepting a non-existent offer?
I like the way Ryan kicks it to Cox over and over. They have a thing going on with kick-insIf we do land Jackson, I hope we position him on the opposite wing to Darcy at kick ins. That way Ryan has somebody else to kick to. Kicking it to Darcy over and over just wasn't working in the final against Collingwood and was too easy to defend.
I also think Treacy does have the potential to be a gun. The forward line as whole needs work in regards to positioning, I noticed in the games that JT did play that he and Tabs, or Lobb led to the same positions and were competing for the same balls. Rory seemed to perform better with an empty forward line, just leading into space. I'm sure with leading one of his strengths that if JT was afforded the same luxury he could be just as effective. When they are leading to the same areas they are drawing their defenders to the contest as well.
Hopefully another preseason under Graham can sort that out, Kennedy and Darling never seemed to get in each other's way...
Only if the footy word 'bust' has been redefined to mean something else.Jared Polec was also a top 10 pick (#5), also got a $3.5m deal at North, and has so far has played 148 games and counting.
I bet 99% of footy fans would also call him a bust.
I was under the impression it was because (looking foward from 2021) there was no room in the cap going forward for Rory with Jackson potentially incoming and all the young stars needing to be resigned. Young could use that as leverage to force a deal.I’ve been told it’s a third rounder, which is laughable. How can you woo a bloke all year to come to your club, and that’s the best you can offer. Are you his dad?
I’m allowed to not rate him. You’re allowed to rate him.
Club didn’t rate him in our back 6 or 7.
North rate him and have paid him.
Everyone’s allowed opinions buddy.
One thing I don’t do is give you s**t because you disagree, yet here you are calling me childish.
He’s no longer at Freo. Let’s all move on from this spud, ok.

Cept with so many players out, particularly Logue, the cap is no longer full for next year.
Hes sold one client down the river to take money on another.
Its about performance compared to what was "spent", also factoring what could have been acquired at that pick.Only if the footy word 'bust' has been redefined to mean something else.
A bust is a player picked high that turns out not to be AFL standard. Whatever their faults Logue and Polec are clearly that.
LOL!Are you his dad? For pointing out he played well......sure, that makes sense
You're allowed to not rate him, but your constant negatively about him is tiresome
Multiple clubs rated him, Brisbane, Swans and Tigers were interested. We were very keen to keep him even during the trade period.....so maybe he's not s**t?
Oh no, did I hurt your feelings? Should I expect you to inbox for me insults 5 hours again without getting a single reply from me?
Nothing to do with cap. He’s trying to leave a front ended deal for more $I was under the impression it was because (looking foward from 2021) there was no room in the cap going forward for Rory with Jackson potentially incoming and all the young stars needing to be resigned. Cal's rankings from Sept were as follows:Have they released any phantom/mock drafts yet?
Same source as always?I’ve been told it’s a third rounder, which is laughable. How can you woo a bloke all year to come to your club, and that’s the best you can offer. Pi55 poor by the dogs and young.
Why can’t we have both?'WA teen breaks 14-year-old record at Draft Combine'
WA teen breaks 14-year-old record at Draft Combine
Darcy Jones and Ed Allan among the players to impress on the final day of the 2022 AFL Draft Combinewww.afl.com.au
We may miss Allen, but could/would/should we snag Darcy Jones with our first pick?
Same source as always?
I find it incredibly hard for Young to allow Lobb to buy a house knowing that dogs were going to offer something so piss poor, surely they had a breakdown in communication, geez
I trust your work too so this is just incredible if its the case
