I’d say if a top 10 pick was put infront of them they would do it.

Doesn’t sound like they got offers like that and we have discussed too death how a second rounder isn’t of value

Gags and those at Saints obviously rate out list higher than we do. After 2021 and 22 they still think we have players who can go to another level. Missing finals next year will look terrible for us

Apparently after the top 5.

You could throw a blanket over the next 10-15.

So I’d rather get something for Long as opposed to moving up 2 places and losing him for nothing.

Brisbane have academy/FS kids this season and Gold Coast next season. Something in the Berry trade will sort all this stuff out IMO.

Gags said all the right things I wanted to hear as a supporter and really seems to have his head screwed on. We can’t forget that he’s helped orchestrate a huge amount of relatively big deals for us over his tenure and its not necessarily his fault that those players haven’t performed to the level (in most cases). It’s still obvious that coaching and development is our problem. Hopefully Boris Lenny and the new forwards coach (Stevie J anyone?) infuse some new ideas and energy into the group. Ratts needs to do some soul searching as well
