I thought he showed enough in his couple of years to be retained. But Highmore probably replaced him on the list and even he can’t get a game.Of all of them, I wish clav was still on the list. Young defenders take a while to come good and I thought he showed enough. He was also a pretty tall fella.

I don’t see how it can be a stuff up at all. We’ve made an offer. He either accepts it and comes to us as a FA or he stays at the Pies. We’re not going to offer him a mill a year and won’t give up any picks in a trade for him.How do you see it playing out, realistically it has the potential to be a monumental stuff up.
Our contested possession numbers would be through the roof.Gringo says ”YES”
You have young blokes that are in their prime to head to the bars and nightclubs with disposable income....seriously, what do you think would happen?
It's prevalent in clubs in the country on minimal income, it's certainly bigger in the metro area

We got him without having to trade. We used free agency perfectly even though they would have wanted a lot more picks wise.fleecing how?
If we'd won a flag in the last few decades, had made finals in the last decade, had a 20% better list, hadn't had such shocking luck with injury/concussions e.t.c, we might have been more prepared to bottom out (again).
When you're a small club, if you bottom out for long enough people start talking Tasmania. We would have had draftees coming in with no leadership or talent above them. Basically we would have been North. Or Melbourne of the previous several years (happy ending, but not sure we remember clearly just how dreadful that would have been for Dees supporters).
Unfortunately, as a battling club, we have to put survival first. Frankly I couldn't care less if we bottom out, collect draft picks and win a flag in 8 years time in Hobart or Launceston or wherever the hell they're going to be.
Things could be worse - just wish we didn't play such goddamn ugly football and had a few more stars to watch.
I think their fans will want some trade value. If we end up getting him for nothing pick wise then it will be a great move. A lot will depend on whether the Pies end up matching our offer. How do you see it playing out, realistically it has the potential to be a monumental stuff up.

That article is pretty inaccurate. It can cause all those issues but it's not as addictive physically as things like heroin. It is made using diesel fuel so eats the septum out between your nostrils if you abuse it long enough and lots of other things like that but it's probably overstated a lot in that article.

Runs more kms for easy handball and runs a circle to avoid contact. Easy to run from cruising to flat stick. Hard went riding a bump getting up and going from a standing start. And would help if he ran TOWARDS ball!
they wanted him gone another case of us picking up other clubs rejectsWe got him without having to trade. We used free agency perfectly even though they would have wanted a lot more picks wise.
Yep which is what we used as our leverage. Interesting to see if JDG plays out the same.I doubt we would have bothered if he cost a trade. They really had FA to leverage off.
They would have been hoping for a first round compo.they wanted him gone another case of us picking up other clubs rejects
Hill too. We shouldn't be giving him away.Lethlean and Gags' finest moment was probably fleecing Adelaide with the Crouch move. Played it beautifully.
It will be very interesting to see how De Goey plays out.

The Pies came out and said they've put off contract talks to the end of the year. He’d take a lot more cash. He’s not at a club trying to start a rebuild and is still required. They haven’t got much cap space unless they unload Grundy and even then…Rumours saying he’s signed with the Pies for 2 years anyway.
I guess if you’re not a mouth breather it helps to have a third nostril. That article is pretty inaccurate. It can cause all those issues but it's not as addictive physically as things like heroin. I thought the dream was over on that weekend where we got pumped with another dour performance, while Degoey was playing presumably at the MCG in front of a packed house in a thrilling victory against all odds.Might have but just saying that people are pretty adamant that he's re-signed. Even if it's not true I think that he's more likely to stay than leave unless we blow him away with a huge condition free mega offer. After Hill the board probably don't approve an at all costs type of scenario.
Impressive doc, appreciate your commitment to the cause. Couldn't help myself, had to count, and yes folks, there are 28 Luke Dunnys in that picture.Gringo says ”YES”
Yeah you'd think just quietly the pies would have the original offer back on the table. From memory it was something like 2 years with triggers for 2 more. Can't see him leaving unfortunately. He’d take a lot more cash. He’s not at a club trying to start a rebuild and is still required. They haven’t got much cap space unless they unload Grundy and even then…Rumours saying he’s signed with the Pies for 2 years anyway.
