It's only VFL level and he's against some pretty average opposition, but games like this make me wonder how much more successful Cox might have been as a number 1 ruck. He's very Oscar Mac-like when he plays in the ruck.
Cutting the mustard as a KPF is hard enough for talent stacked youngsters that are groomed for the role from their teens yet let alone a bloke picking up the game at 25 years of age.

Suspect he would've played a lot more games.

No, you need to have nominated for the national draft to be eligible in the mid-season I believe.

Good effort in the end, after a poor start. Given the injuries, and that we had a few players missing, it was yet another impressive win.

Great to be 3-0 in the VFL. Started the season very well.

Different kind of impressive win today. Nowhere near the run or dare of recent weeks but good maturity to get it done with a few guys going out, a few having gone up to the 1s and against a team of mature vfl players. Good spread of contribution, lots of guys had good quarters or halves. VFL boys all played well, not sure a lot of the afl guys put their hand up, maybe cox but he was playing mostly ruck which he won't in the 1s. OTTNO.

Macrae will be fine cause you can see the talent when he gets involved. Just needs too do what he does in the second half of games more consistently through out matches. I wonder if it is a tank issue cause sometimes he seems spent.

His lack of awareness and mental sharpness might not fit the can be worked on bill.

Look as a key defender you have to compete in the air first and foremost.

I feel like he just tried too hard today and tried to make every play a winner and made some poor errors

I feel from what was seen of him early doors he has lost his confidence in the air and is a very spoil first type of defender
