What if we turned Grundy into a forward and Cox into a permanent ruck?
Ageed, McCrae's put on a bit of size on this year, seems to be labouring and lost a bit of toeI think he definitely needs to work on his tank. Noticed he seemed really reluctant to leave the centre square during general play, not sure if a fitness/work rate thing or instruction.

Just speculating, but he was on crutches at the end of the game (according to the commentary), so it's a fair concern.I had the volume down - so was it confirmed on the broadcast that AJ has done a serious hammy?
Or are people here just speculating?
He was never quick, or do you mean toey?Ageed, McCrae's put on a bit of size on this year, seems to be labouring and lost a bit of toe
Could be fatiguePouter did some good things (especially in the last1/4) but gee I was surprised by his lack of pace (for someone who is an outside runner. He got caught a lot and was to slow in his own run down attempts.
Poulter should get a go next week. He's playing well.
Never said "quick", just watched him off the ball and he laboured at timesHe was never quick, or do you mean toey?
Definitely a fitness thing, we saw it last year as well. It’s a shame he hasn’t improved that aspect over the preseason.Macrae will be fine cause you can see the talent when he gets involved. Just needs too do what he does in the second half of games more consistently through out matches. I wonder if it is a tank issue cause sometimes he seems spent.
Until he proves himself a better option than Daicos or Sidebottom on a wing he’ll have to bide his time. There’s no rush.Poulter should get a go next week. He's playing well.
Why couldn’t Sidebottom play on ball or forward?Until he proves himself a better option than Daicos or Sidebottom on a wing he’ll have to bide his time. There’s no rush.
May be difficult with potentially DeGoey, Adam's and and Roughy back.Poulter should get a go next week. He's playing well.
Why would you shift your best wingman to a different position in order to play an inferior player there? Why couldn’t Sidebottom play on ball or forward?
Development, Poulter gave us very good contributions last year. There is no reason to think he couldn’t again. Sidey In his current form will make equally good contributions all over the ground. Why would you shift your best wingman to a different position in order to play an inferior player there?
How do you figure that, with Adams DeGoey and maybe McCreery all due back and clearly ahead of TBrown in pecking order?

Positive is we can chuck AJ on the LTI List and take someone in the midseason draft?
I believe the only way we could pick up a player in that draft is if we write someone off for the rest of the year with a long-term injury (or someone retires), since we don't currently have a free list spot. I don't think the long-term injury players are allowed to play again (that season) once that move is made. I'm hoping Johnson's injury isn't a season-ending one!I’m unsure about the rules. Does that mean AJ can’t play for the rest of the year?
Poulter can develop in the VFL. Until he picks up the pace of the game enough that he’s not constantly getting run down in the VFL, he has no place in the AFL team while there are better options available in his position.Development, Poulter gave us very good contributions last year. Against Adelaide at Adelaide Oval? That was mid to late in the third though to get us back in touch or in the lead, Bianco kicked one just before or after. Elliott kicked the winner in that game.Nah, the only in the AFL. I think from 40 meters out.
No, you've got the right one!: AFL Tables - Caleb Poulter - Stats - StatisticsAgainst Adelaide at Adelaide Oval? That was mid to late in the third though to get us back in touch or in the lead, Bianco kicked one just before or after. Elliott kicked the winner in that game.
There‘s a fair chance I have the wrong game in mind though.
