Terrible there no Teams given out yet.

Pathetic by our Media Team again
Be careful they get very upset when you criticise them. Had a few run ins with them lately and they don’t like anything negative said.

I’m actually curious what we are going to do about the Ruck in the VFL. Begg out with concussion and the others played last night. Hopefully we have a top up ruckman listed.

Really loving the VFL coverage this year.

Always had a keen interest in our VFL side but living interstate makes it difficult to get to games or even watch on the TV.

Cheers AFL website even if you're difficult to navigate. 👍
I see WAFL streams are now also on the AFL site/app. It’s good and over due that state league is becoming more accessible.

Ben Moyle at 197cm might be an option

I’m sure they are doing the best with what they have available. The media team that is.

Sam Glover might be asked to do a bit of ruckwork. He's not exactly ruckman sized, but he is at least a mature type and solid enough. There's not many other options that I can see. Maybe they'll finally unleash Bassirou Faye for this game - he's certainly tall enough for the job!!

Matt Wetering is a key forward - might be an option to replace AJ if he us fit.

Does Ash Close still play at all? He is about 198

Hartley is about 198 - might be able to be a ruck for 5 mins a quarter

From memory GWS have a big group of young rucks who could dominate

I think Ash Close may still work for the club, but he hasn't been on our VFL list for a while, and he was (probably still is) playing coach of Ivanhoe FC. A good friend of mine over there has told me Wetering is meant to be an excellent prospect, but I did read somewhere that he had a long term injury, so we may not see him for a while.

Why is the Eggman out?
Don't know, but disappointing to see that. His game last week was phenomenal, and he looked a cut above that level. The GWS team looks to be a very inexperienced one, with hardly any of those players having played at AFL level. Brander is really the only "big name" there! I'm not sure if they've been hit by an injury crisis, or Covid perhaps, but that is not a strong looking side!

Wow, perhaps the shortest team ever put on the field. Can’t they even recruit tall players in the VFL. What don’t our recruiting team like about tall players, honestly it’s embarrassing.

I assume Ruscoe probably plays that role, and afl listed players are the priority.
He’s not listed as an emergency so maybe it’s covid or an injury. AFL players are a priority but he should still be picked over other BFL players like Wellings.
