10 + F1st for 7 + F2nd is what GWS want apparently.
Which is probably what i’d be wanting the crows to be asking for if the shoe was on the other foot and it was the crows holding pick 7 and Gws with 10 and wanting our 7…

so.. it probably fair.

In 2019 we traded pick No.4 to GWS in exchange for two first round selections pick No.6 in that 2019 draft and Giants’ first round pick in the 2020 draft..

Maybe we should probably feel lucky gws would be willing to chuck the second rounder back to us..

moving up in the top 10 of drafts is always a costly exercise.

So trade out 20 for a pick next year? Can’t see us doing that. We have Melbournes pick and we can worry about that next year.
Nah keep 20 or slide it back a bit in this draft to bank a future pick while still using it if we rate a player that we think we can get a bit later

Happy to just use pick 20 and not slide it back if we rate a player and think we need to take him there rather than late 20s

Next years draft is supposed to be gun midfielders, I’m not giving up a potential top 10 pick so we can move up 3 places.

It really depends on how highly you rate Curtin. I’m a big fan

I’d be asking for 16 for 20 on top of it, but I’d be very tempted to say yes

It’s Curtin this year but what about next year, what are we potentially giving up? We could easily have a down year next year.

Curtin if he gets to 7 will have been overlooked 6 times, including by one club twice.

We keep 10, select a quality player and bank another one next year.

Plenty of clubs overlooked some of the current best players in the comp in their draft years, too. We shouldn’t care about how other clubs rate a player - put faith in our own talent ID

I agree we could have a down year, but if we rate Curtin highly enough, that risk could be minimised, from our POV

I get why others wouldn’t do such a deal, though

Curtin is a star , I hope we get him but wouldn’t use a future 1st

Wouldn’t be worried re clubs passing on him , he could have easily gone pick 3

We're not going to the draft next year from all reports, 2 x f/s but will be trades and f/a.

Still, would love a high end mid next year, clearly what we need.

If we did trade out our future first, I'd be keen to trade 20 for ports f1 from Fremantle.

Both teams failed. Fremantle with Pavlich, us without him.
Takes more than one player, and if Pav wanted a flag he probably should've come home.
I'm referring to the way Curtin plays and the similarly to Pavlich, and the irony if we had the WA version for his career, but couldn't get Pavlich for his, even though we tried a number of times.

Keep up!

That’s not what Ogilvie said, he said we wouldn’t grab 3 players at the draft next year, not that we wouldn’t draft.

We keep our first and get to use it before Welsh I can see those 2 as our picks. Plus trade for Petty.

BRL121 Im getting in early with next years prediction.

I picked the Aussies winning too. I’m on a roll.

2 and half hour meeting before the draft? Clarksons not wasting his time if he won’t get his way.
Maybe optics to try and get WCE to trade pick 1 to north if they think they are no chance of getting him with an f1 a bit later in the draft...WCE apparently really want both..do they actually want curtin more if they can only get one of them

Nah can’t see that. They’d want Reid more.

They few Curtin to tour their facilities last week, they have to be super keen
