As a free agent we’d probably get nothing tbh. If he’s offered two years we might get lucky to get a third rounder which is the lowest compensation available.

If he left I’d want a another back up KPD but I don’t think the club should be that worried about losing Hamling that we offer him more than a year.

They say he's an important part of our future etc but I can't see how given both Erasmus and Johnson were ahead of him most of the year and they are a ways off the finished product.

I think if you could turn his head we'd let him go for something decent. We couldn't let him walk for chips though because he's the only quality midfield depth we have.
