Our problem through this whole period is we don’t kick easy goals.
Our defensive structure and contested ball is first class but need to run and use the ball better especially with our connection inside forward 50.

Name some names to target? There’s always some out there. Brisbane added McKenna for free, Geelong Stengel for free, i think GWS added Bedford for free, who can we target?

I think we should be targeting Goldstein but he doesn’t help our half forward and half back issues.

We need some leg speed and better ball use. I’m disappointed Dow is going and I would have played him in the finals

Improvement next year needs to come from Williams Boyd Kemp Hollands Cowan Binns O’Keefe Lemmey Durdin Cincotta Motlop TDK. This is the group with all the upside

We need to make sure players like Cottrell Fogarty Cuningham aren’t beat 22.

I hope we get Elijah Hollands and I would love a Liam Henry. He is what we need

Add Williams Boyd Cowan (and DC who I see as a running defender) Docherty with Saad and the problem is solved

Boyd for all his promise doesn’t find enough of the footy, Cunners is worth a go but also doesn’t find much of the footy, i really hope Williams can stay fit.

I dont think it needs as much work as the half forwards but geez id love a player like Quaynor, Coleman, Willmot, Starcevich off half back.

I still feel we are hamstrung $$$$ wise to make big changes, which is fine, Austin has picked up good players to date, just needs to nail some more.

I have no idea why the criticism of Gresham, he would be a walk up start to our side, make us better straight away, the only negative is the supposed contract.

My hope is that we invest in the draft more and look towards the younger players being in the best 23 next year. I want to see Hollands and Binns as regulars. Motlop and C.Durdin must be persisted with.

I am not pinning my hopes on a 29 year old whose body is failing him. And I am not hanging my hat on Cripps, Doc, Saad and there I say it... Acres... to achieve a premiership. I don't see it happening with them. Sure they might have a few years left in them but they've been physically tortured over the years (more-so Cripps and Doc). And hate to say it, they have all passed their peak.

Walsh with a full preseason will be promising.
Jordan Boyd is in our best line-up. No doubt about it.

What we need is more speed off half back? We need what Brisbane torched us with. Coleman and McKenna types. We need a greater focus on our defensive set up as a whole too. We know Weitering is the foundation but it's what is around him that concerns me.

Rigid Marchbank. Patchy Kemp. Out of Form Young. Injury prone McGovern. Ageing Newman. Unconvincing S.Durdin.
I say the focus should be on Akuei and turning him into a valuable asset. No point having given him a contract otherwise.

Regardless of how many we have in any position, the quality of those players is important. Many here see no way Mirkov becomes an AFL player and Okeefe is very raw.

For me Pittonet not only struggles to stay on the park but is disappointing when he does, he poses no forward threat, doesn’t mark the footy and provides no link up play, Goldstein would improve our side from day one.

Boyd will be a beauty as will Cowan. I like DC back as he finds the ball more there. Cottrell is another option and I would put Docherty back

Up forward we have options as well I see Motlop & Durdin as our future and Owies is a good player. For me it’s more about our delivery and the way we work as a group

Durdin is the wildcard up forward; a better mark than Owies and Motlop, an elite (and big) kick, but just couldn’t get a run this year. Hoping in 24 he shows his potential. Could even run through the midfield occasionally if he’s fully fit.

Williams surely plays down back; competing with Cincotta and Boyd for a spot.

Need Cuningham to shift from half-forward to the midfield.

Teach him defence first then unleash him on the wing when the opportunity arises, can play. Took me 5 mins to type this haha! Thanx to the Ed taking notes.

I think you are drunk. Or know **** all about the game of afl. Fancy saying Cripps and doc are past it? Or passed their peak? ****ing lol. Cripps against Melbourne being able to stand up in tackles and disk the ball off gave us a few crucial goals. Doc and Cripps will be there for #17
