As strange as it might sound, I think this is a massive game for us, a kind of crossroads if you will.

Win, and it could do wonders for the group and considering who we play the following weeks could potentially be the start of winning three in a row (provided we start playing some good footy).

Lose, and the heat will well and truly be on Voss and the team, because let’s face it, no matter how bad we are, this list should not be losing to Essendon’s.

My only ask for this game is to try and play that hard and direct style that we have played in patches this year, Dow to play a full game and for Binn's to get a call up since he seems to be playing well from the VFL threads I've read.

His up and about is few a far between. Selfish player who expects the team to revolve around him. Should never been made captain.

I've heard this myth about Cripps not trying at the end of coaching tenures a few times. Some people even claim he has tried to get coaches sacked. It's completely untrue.

At the time Bolton got sacked which was round 11 that year Cripps was 2nd in the AFL coaches votes. He had 2 poor performances in Bolton's last 3 games where he got heavily tagged. The game between those 2 he got coaches votes. He won the MVP that year mainly based off his performances under Bolton in those first 11 games despite us losing nearly all of them.

Can't blame him for Teagues sacking either. He was pretty average for Teagues whole tenure for a variety of reasons.

Not a shot at you. It's just something that is mentioned alot here that I'm seeking to clarify.
