The Pies' other games thread is quite ironic. They believe we would be bottom 4 without Charlie, our game plan is too simplistic etc etc.

So Collingwood with a couple of injuries have been losing quite a few lately as opposed to us keep winning with a few injuries.. umm yeah.
How good have the ferals been going without Darcy Moore lol...Filthy ferals..
we beat them with our vfl mids ..

WOW! Forwards kicking goals and winning games for their teams.

Pies supporters should know all about it. How many times did Elliott save their arse?

With 9:12 left in the 4th, Martin halved a two-on-one contest, which allowed Acres to apply pressure that resulted in the ball spilling to Motlop, an immaculate I50 and Charlie's goal that truly put us within reach of Gold Coast
This was the best thing of the match; Martin took one from behind then collared the other one handed dragged him to the ground .. for a slight guy he is as hard as

And absolutely destroyed Carey at PP
Nothing he couldn’t do i his prime
That bloody ACL wreaked him at the peak of his powers…
And made archer look like a park player when he went fwd -- one of the best days I ever had at the football that day my Grandfather who went for north went home in the 3 rd qaurter cause I was driving him crazy with the Kouta call coming up on the screen

Ha what? McGovern has Marchbank covered in literally every facet of the game. Not even close. McGovern's kicking skills and positive impact on our ball movement are so many levels above.

I love Gov but he is not exactly without blemish on the dumb mistakes front. And some of the sitter marks he drops - he throws in a couple every week. Marchbank has been making mistakes also but at the very least he has Gov covered for clean hands in the marking dept.

Marchbank has always been one of my favourites so I'm not doubt looking with rose tinted glasses.

Good to finally have some high quality backups across the ground anyway.

A fit Gov is crucial to our 22.

But I do wonder if the MC would drop Marchbank or Cincotta. Both can play smaller than the third tall role but if Gov got reinjured Marchbank cab make the switch whilst Cincotta cannot. Saad, Newman and Doc provide run and carrty, dash, and field general play down back so we're in no way devoid of it

The MC has some serious questions to answer.

I love Cinc too so I'm not underselling his skills

You'd be brave to drop Cincotta. Such a vital cog in that backline. Sticks to his man like glue but also finds the pill - and generally uses it well on both feet.

Dow:
team high 7 clearances
equal team high 4 centre clearances
7 score involvements
24 touches, 10 contested
6 marks
2 intercept marks
5 inside 50s
4 tackles
532 metres gained
3 rebound 50s
1 goal assist
3 score launchers

He did all that despite being on the bench the 6th most in our team.

I think Fisher has made himself undroppable. Has Dow done the same?

Unfortunately I think not.

I also suspect Hollands gets dropped next week. Such a massive talent but I can't see him keeping Cotterell / Acres out of the team and we are running 3 wingers. His youth was a bit of an issue early in the suns game.

Don’t wait for Luke “lantern jawed moron” Darcy to vote for any Carlton player any time soon.

Sam “Rising Star” Walsh says hello.
Didn't he have the deciding vote for MOTY where he voted for Krakeour, but not Walker?

I distinctly remember Quartermain reaming into him on that one, and that dude despises us.

Will live long in the memory that one. When you make a horror decision like that you're basically proving yourself such an incompetent judge you should never be invited back. Unfortunately that's not how the AFL boys club works.

No doubt but KB led that one. Another bias so obvious he should never have been on an AA selection panel.

Don't get me started on Ling constantly voting for his Geelong mates / Kane Cornes stuffing Port players in.

I think you're bang on re Hollands. Love his intensity but we need to fit stars in the team.

Re Dow I cannot see Kennedy replacing him at this stage, Dow growing by the game and I know I say it every week, but he gives us something we dont already have. Has added some real hardness to his game the last few weeks and that contested mark he took where he had to sit under a skied ball. He took that one grab overhead with big pressure from behind. He didn't go pick 3 for no reason, the kid can obviously really play.

Fisher's only possible replacement at this stae is Boyd.
