Well, if we're offering Petty $1m and now going after Haynes who is on over $1m next year, then yes, we have plenty of cap space. We just don't know if we have space for both.

Unfortunately for Kane, as usual, his logic is also flawed. It doesn’t address a need for Adelaide at all.
Tex has 1 or 2 years left and so if we traded Tillthorpe and McAdam to Melbourne, we would have Fog as our only key forward, while having Worrell, Butts, Murray, Keane and Petty as key backs.

That's been the talk for a while, that's why 3rd round picks are almost worthless unless you need points and clubs are not interested in low second round.

For us McAdam has to be a future pick otherwise there is no point.
