absolutely - we would be stupid using F1 under this scenario and why bother trying to move 19 to 17 - pointlessWe don't even need to use our F1 will have 3 picks in the 20's plus whatever we get for McAdam that we can give for 10 and 17

Can Port trade one of their future 2nd' because they have two even though they don't have a future 1st?There's apparently talk of Barnett wanting out of WC... me want
I think that's what they want to do - BZT and RatoguleaCan Port trade one of their future 2nd' because they have two even though they don't have a future 1st?

agree with a lot of this but IMO Fog was one of the only true underwhelming players this year. I think he went backwards relative to his breakout second half of 2022 - not improved further. Yes perhaps my words were a little TT but his reported top 3-4 salary at the club (700k+) just means I expected more from him,, esp as so many other players had career best years (Rankine, Hinge, Jones, Murray etc)
Geelong wouldn't like itThoughts on:
Adelaide 19 and 25 for Geelong pick 7?
Leaves 7,9 and 22
yes please.Thoughts on:

If Welsh is projected anywhere near (or above) the first rounder we have next year and is likely to get eaten in a bid, we can just trade it... next year. Like Gold Coast just did with the Dogs. There's no rush to get rid of it.Youd rather we blow it on a bid next year would you?..
Tyler welsh will be top 10 next year.. potentially top 5..
He’s ranked top 3 at the moment.
And we wont have a top 10 pick… and if we do, its cause we yet again didnt make finals and there will be hell to pay for Nicksy, roo and the team..
they might go for 9 + 25 for 7 + F3Thoughts on:
Adelaide 19 and 25 for Geelong pick 7?
Leaves 7,9 and 22
Geelong have mentioned they want to address multiple areas around the ground so 1 end of first and early second might tempt them.Geelong wouldn't like it
25 is a lot for 2 spots. I don't like it personallythey might go for 9 + 25 for 7 + F3
Why would Geelong do thatThoughts on:
Adelaide 19 and 25 for Geelong pick 7?
Leaves 7,9 and 22
They aren't trading a top 10 pick for 2 early secondsGeelong have mentioned they want to address multiple areas around the ground so 1 end of first and early second might tempt them.
I dont need to imagine, Port with a tougher draw and the heat on Ken.Imagine that. If Port finish say 10th that's a top 10 pick in a strong draft.
they might go for 9 + 25 for 7 + F3
Maybe - the cats have nothing after pick 7 so a decent 2nd rounder to drop 2 spots and a F3 that could be a 40's to 50's pick next year might tempt them.Cant see the Cats moving from 7, but I would have thought Pick 10 is realistic?
You have picks 19, 22, 25 = 2549 points which the Dees cant match unless we offer Future 1st.
Thing is I agree with that article, but hey, if McKay gets pick 3 then it’s pretty fair.
they're going to lose their minds when that dropsThing is I agree with that article, but hey, if McKay gets pick 3 then it’s pretty fair.
so they single out the crows player leaving for compo - not the north player thats done nothing to warrant pick 3. Nothing ever changes..wack us and free pass everyone else.
