Any chance of trading Picks 39, 51, 54, and 67 to Gold Coast for their Future end of Round 1 (North Melbourne assistance) pick. Both worth around the 1000 points. Helpful for Gold Coast with their Academy picks this year, and helpful for Brisbane next year.

Considering the coin Gunston is on and his inability to improve due to his age, coupled with not really being best 22 anymore.

Offloading him for a young developing forward on far less coin, with some pick swaps?

Port currently winning the trade period with guns Sweet and Ratugolea coming in, hopefully they drag a great selection with their first pick in the draft at pick 112.

Every club has to take draft picks don't they? So port are pretty much taking the Mickey.

Time will tell. Some promising glimpses but a very limited sample size.

For now I’ll sit calmly in the middle ground between the Hawks fans who think they’ve lost a flying-under-the-radar future star and the Lions fans who think we’ve picked up a complete VFL hack.

Granted it's small sample size but goodness me, he showed plenty. 2m tall, a decent left-foot, strong footy IQ and clean hands at ground level. We shouldn't have relented.

And he evidently passes Fages' character test. Pretty unanimous that he's a quality young man.

I’d say possibly as a draft day trade after they match for Walter plus Reed. Most of their points would be used up with their picks being pushed back so would be surprised if they did the trade to bring in more points then and the end of draft picks become void.
