At first I wasn't sure whether you were referring to West Coast supporters or cats but then I realised that as a matter of logic it had to be cats as West Coast would literally have no supporters if the ugly ones were put to sleep.

I’m not even (trying to) taunt, merely trying to separate fact from fiction and clarify my own statement which generally ties closer to the North Melbourne line than the bulk of my own fans hence me wondering into this thread to start.
I do get a bit annoyed when people start throwing the delusional stone when the reported tabled offer is the same one I suggested two weeks ago.

I’m genuinely not trying to cause trouble or offence. Thankfully for me one of your friendly mods is aware of that.

For the record my own price for Reid was 2,11,17 or 18 with 23 going back, but if it ends up being 2,17,18 and we keep 23 I’m completely cool with it.
Again, this’ll get my head bitten off on my own board.

Its been a loooong year we

• Lost our coach for 12 weeks
• Lost our first number 1 draft pick
• Lost 19 games in a row
• Lost a game via an interchange infringement
• Lost to Essendon 2 x under 10 points
• Lost Chom with another long term injury
• Lost the number 1 draft pick after losing 19 games in a row

There is more but I reckon you get the point.

After all of this the little reward as supporters we get is to come on here with likeminded supporters are talk shi*t about who we can take at the draft and get a little bit excited about something.

Why everytime I jump on this thread do I have to read these WCE weirdos essays about why we shouldn’t try and trade for Harley, or if we do what we need to pay, or why they don’t want to trade as he is the next G. Ablett.

I would be one of the first to bemoan the awful list imbalance we currently have. But I just don’t think you can look past a guy pushing 190 with this much skill, marking ability, smarts and agility.

We probably do prefer McKercher and a couple of late firsts (or another top 10 pick) over Reid by himself but if we cant agree on a deal hard to see us not taking Reid. I suppose you never know tho.

It'd be a bit strange if WC didn't deal then.

North clearly prefer Reid, WC McKercher and late firsts....would make no sense for WC to hold pick 1 then.

They are hanging out for the best offer. 2, 17 and 18 should be the best offer we give them...Time for Brady to hold firm..If WC trade to the Dees for 6, 11 and whatever else they are prepared to offer then WC will miss out on not only Reid but also Mckersher, Watson, Sanders, Duursma and maybe even Curtin depending if someone takes Curtin earlier than pick 6...

l totally agree.....l still believe West Taost want Mckersher but are trying to find a way of saving face with the supporters..The Dees offer will not work for them and they have already rejected the Dawks offer which l though was good. So it comes down to us or the highway...
