Stocker Caminiti?
Yeah, to be fair though Caminiti fell into his lap

Stocker has been a very good pick up I'll agree

He also took a lot of average footballers from the Giants to Carlton

I think he's made quite a few blunders over the years so he is going to have to make a few good decisions before I become too confident in him

Nothing I have seen from DeKoning tells me he's worth paying anything significant for. He's 24 and shown very little.

Everyone knocks him.

But if we had a list manager land Weitering Curnow McKay Walsh we would be thrilled.

In essence we adore Beveridge. But then he traded for Barry Brooks, took Fergus watts, reached in Brad Howard etc.

Apparently ****ed Jo the Judd / X Clarke scenario In the pomp of our list under GT.

I think SOS is better than the wrap he gets. But that’s my opinion.

If you have Trust in your coaching group you make the move.

Coaching can polish up an aluminium can, not a turd. Not saying that TDK is a turd but if we pay up big and he ends up another GOP on massive coin it could hold us back from the ultimate.

I think it will be an interesting off season.

If Clark and Gresh don’t have pen to paper by round 16. I think there would be a few 👀 👀

Two of those were obvious first picks in the draft. I'm not sure how you could stuff that up?

The draft they got Curnow and McKay is definitely something he can hang his hat on, no doubt.

Outside of that has made a heap of **** ups in the first round.

SPS, Paddy Dow, Lachie O'Brien, Brodie Kemp all taken with high picks

10 or so average Giants players brought across not to mention big contracts for players like Williams and McGovern

Not everything he has touched has turned to shit but he's hardly someone who leaves you thinking you can completely trust their judgement

DoKoning would have to come cheap for me.to be on board

You'd want to replace them with something very very good or it would be a step backwards IMO. There is a lot of energy driving us at the moment and that second year tends to drop off a bit.

Fiddling with what's working is a dangerous thing. Swapping 2 very good best 22 players for TDK would look a lot like Freo losing Lobb and Acres for Jackson. I don't think even B King would make up for the loss of midfield depth.

I don’t want to judge any of our off-season moves in isolation this year.

I think it will be one we need to judge once it’s all said and done.

Because I can see a lot of fans not being happy with something and being thrilled with others.

Bevo was a recruiter not responsible for trades. Sos was okay at Carlton probably not bad at GWS either but the guys he took from GWS to Carton were pretty meh.

Petracca says hi.

It would be hard not to judge that one in isolation though

If we pay him a decent contract, we've already got a ruckman far superior and he's yet to show he can play as a forward

Using draft capital and money on him is only going to make it harder to get other deals through the door

I hope we don't go all in on Ben King either because that sounds like the only thing that would appease some. King and TDK for Gresham and Hunts would be a very unbalanced list and I reckon would look like SOS had a bit of confusion.

If Gresh wants to go, it's not a huge deal anymore, wouldn't have him in our top 10 most important players anymore.

I hope he stays, but if he goes we'd be freeing up $600-700k and probably get an end of first round compensation pick.
We lose compo unless we sign him. Read that on another thread

Would not like to lose either of those two at all.
Both p.o.d players with some special attributes.
Particularly enjoying seeing what Hunter can do with a clean run at it. Very clever player.

King and keep Clark and Gresham for me

It's unlikely we would have the assets to get both King and TDK so I dont think that's too much of a worry.

We could afford to lose one of Gresh or Hunter if we wanted to improve our draft hand. But both would be hitting too much in the same spot.
