It looks like north are trying to tank so badly that they want the number one pick again it’s never worked out for them and they just can’t get better doing this they need to try and win some games a top 5 pick would be enough to help them with their rebuilt but not trying is horrible for the North Fans and players who have been down for years I expected more from Alistair Clarkson i’m really disappointed in the effort they are putting in at least Hawthorn and West Coast are genuinely just bad not tanking for pics like North
Why'd you post this here?

I don’t agree anymore. He made his choice a couple of years ago.
By all accounts the Saints encouraged him to make that choice at that time.
I don’t think we had the currency for him at that stage that they would have wanted and we were willing to part with.

Not for me. If it works with creating a premiership list only. He'll be getting offers at around $1million a year. That's a huge amount for something that would be nice but not the number one need. If he's happy to take a reasonable wage and GC aren't greedy, absolutely you'd go for it but I hope we don't go chasing rainbows. We need to be ultra disciplined.
Maybe he’ll take a cut to play with his bro at his favourite team.
Surely they can just combine their $$$ and split it evenly 🤣🤣🤣

That is often true but there are also many examples where those big deals have helped push a team towards a premiership

Cameron being the most recent.
Boyd, another.

Himmelberg is not an upgrade on Skunk is any way other than height.

I'd say he's more versatile, can play him on almost any line. Can chop out in the ruck as well.

Interestingly he's had 2 decent goal kicking seasons that are slightly under to Membrey; Himmelberg kicked 38 and 39 snags in 2019 and 2021 (including finals), while Membrey kicked 44 snags for us in 2016 and 2019, but he's back down to the mid 30's the last few years (probably in light of King).

Are you lost young fella?

A proper KPD would be good, as would an elite small forward as free agents or youngsters. But with the exception of Bing we should not be handing over any significant draft capital for anyone. Next year might be a different story but not this one. More kids please.
How about another key forward you need more players to bring it to ground in the forward line like another King size but overall the saint’s are absolutely flying.
Even though phillipou isn’t a key forward he is the draft bargain of the last 15 years what a get you saints supporters must be stocked

If Bing wants in, we make it happen, simple.

We've spent all night trying to convince the missos twin sister for a 3-some, bought all the gin and tonics, laid all the ground work. She's just about ready to agree, the fluoros are just about to be turned on for closing time, the uber's on it way, and we're getting cold feet now??

Not saying I agree with the names but I think we will be in for quite a decent shake-up list wise with some big names potentially put up for trade.

Delist:
Jones, Highmore, Dmac, Campbell, Sharman.

Trade: Membrey, Gresham, Clark, Coffield, Butler (Really want to keep Clark, Coff and Gresh)

Disagree with Clark, Butler, Coff and Membrey (bcoz they are cheap, provide balance, leadership)…..rest are probably goneski.

Sharman has been hanging on 3 good games from 2 years ago. Needs to cut sick soon.

Sounds like jealousy to me

It's staggering the effect this is having on St Kilda's list management.

Sharman.....no real defensive aspect
Highmore.....unreliable disposal
Jones.....always injured
Connelly.....Tried but not good enough
Campbell......Moose in front?
Bytel.......may look elsewhere for better options.
Allison.....Run out of time
DMac....Injury forced retirement?

Seem the most likely candidates to leave at least 4 from the above group will sadly likely not be at Saints next year.

Allison and Sharman both have contracts.

Copied from a post in Round 8 preview:

I reckon our list still lacks tall depth.

Lyon/Boris coaching is making us look good but think Boris would love another real tall down there,
Although the wall is working great as a unit, BIG fellas have been giving us trouble, Dixon, McKay(lucky he can’t kick) even the weed and Collins we’re clunking marks.

Also up forward how many intercept marks do we give up?
Can’t wait to have King back.

Hopefully him/Hammer work together a treat and we can send Cordy to help the Wall on the gorilla forwards.

Furthermore that’s why Owens can’t go into the guts yet:
His contested marking is needed in our forward 50.
We have mids that can get clearance, if not as good as we think Mitchito might.
But struggling to stop intercept marks.

ben king on sen. Sounds like he is leaving

Pretty funny you're on oppo boards accusing Norff of tanking with Harley Reid as your avatar. I get it, just wouldn't have bothered myself..
