I'd play Marshall with some extra extractors and have a developing back up like Moyle in case of injury.
Is Moyle realistically gettable? He's a monster of a man who would be a very good get.

Unlikely. He's still contracted and I doubt GC would let him go given Witts is 30.Is Moyle realistically gettable? He's a monster of a man who would be a very good get.
I really like Marchbank but he’s extremely injury prone…Plowman, forget it!I thought it was Marchbank tbh
He will enjoy it there with all the other dinosaurs. If I see him around town I'll make sure I tell him how much of a fan Starvo is.Goldstein would play 20 games next season at Geelong. Not a poor team by any means. They'll snap him up and that will be that.
I'm not anti-Goldstein, it's just that the role on offer at St Kilda is the Campbell role and he ain't taking it when there will be better offers.
Here’s a thought…how about we develop our own stars via the draft!!So…people are thinking we add Philip, Goldstein and Jordan. Building towards a top four future.
If we are removing the amount of players from the list as rumoured, we will need to do both. Here’s a thought…how about we develop our own stars via the draft!!
It means the team is better than what we have now.Doesn't mean he's good.
I'd be inquiring about Peter Ladhams can be a space cadet but worth being on a list has gone backwards at Sydney.Sure which ruck out there are you choosing mate?
And the point of having a list of players is so if something happened to Roma. Someone else can capably step up and contribute.
Matho has played 72 games with a successful AFL team who has an awesome midfield and I have no doubt that tally would exceed 100 games in a non top 4 teamDoesn't mean he's good.

He's not AFL standard and will never be. So if we are just going to give a spot to anyone in the midfield how's about we give it to a kid who has a future.
It is 72 more games than my VFL mate. But he's nowhere near as good as my mate.Matho has played 72 games with a successful AFL team who has an awesome midfield and I have no doubt that tally would exceed 100 games in a non top 4 team
I would bet that is 72 more games that your very good VFL footballer mate has played
Its pretty straight forward - Goldstein is a first ruck. We have a first ruck. There is no reality where Goldstein is only a small upgrade on Tom Campbell.
The bloke just played 20 afl games. The bloke would dominate the VFL.
I really can’t believe this is even a discussion on here.
Yeah he is old. But it’s a stop gap and a pretty good one. It allows us a different set up that we definitely could have used last weekend
Awesome,I hope an AFL team signs him upIt is 72 more games than my VFL mate. But he's nowhere near as good as my mate.
They won't. He knows that as well. Why so emotional?Awesome,I hope an AFL team signs him up
Yep, and this time last year you were up anyone that mentioned the name Paddy Dow.Yer I understand that. I'm not just referring to that washed up grandpa. There's been some serious spuds mentioned here in here.
You seem to be extraordinarily emotionally attached to this Goldstein thing. Apologies I don't see it like you do.. It's nothing personal.
I have no idea which ruck mate. Just not Goldy.
Roma will be more than fine and Heath isn't far away.
Are you ok mate?We don't plan on needing a stop gap so that's why noone is really worried if he's a better back up than Campbell because we plan on not needing whoever the back up is.
I'm starting to think Goldy is your cousin.
You don’t get my meaning…the fact is we can’t attract gun players to trade in, therefore we need to develop them via the draftIf we are removing the amount of players from the list as rumoured, we will need to do both.
You can't replace 10 players with mainly 18 year old from the draft and expect to be competitive in the years to come. We still need mature bodies ready to play when injuries occur.
And filling the last spots on the list with depth types doesn't stop us from developing multiple kids from this years draft.
I've been very open to the fact that I was a critic of Dow and since mid year have been watching him pretty closely and have been impressed with what I have seen.Yep, and this time last year you were up anyone that mentioned the name Paddy Dow.
Now it seems as though if he got within 6 foot of you you’d be jerking him off with a yabbie pump.
We will be taking a few cheap options that will hopefully improve our depth. While they won’t be stars, it sounds as though the draft will only go to about pick 50 and we need to find ways to replace the players we are letting go.
Every club does it, not just us. There a few cheap recruits playing in the last 6 teams left in the competition that fans would have labelled list cloggers and spuds at times.

He has managed to reach 20 touches just twice in the VFL.Philp was a high pick but checked his stats and a bit of footage. He looks terrible and very injury prone. He's the type you get to train over summer and if he's looking likely chuck him on the list last minute.
This has turned into a very funny thread - you jacking off Dow and Stav's love of the old hack GoldyI've been very open to the fact that I was a critic of Dow and since mid year have been watching him pretty closely and have been impressed with what I have seen.
Im not sure I was up everyone who mentioned him last year or if I would jack him off. Also I've never jacked off anyone before so I think if I was going to start now there would probably be heaps ahead of Dow.
I have talked about him a bit in the last week but that is because I've been informed by a reliable source that it's a done deal.
Looking forward to seeing what he can do in a Saints jumper next year. No ambition to jack him off. Cheering for him from the stands is probably as far as I'll go.
