Why would gresh deal not be public yet how can they still be deciding over it doesn’t make sense how they don’t know by now
Strange to me how he can agree to go there without even knowing exactly how much he’ll be paid.

I think people are confused.

Gresham and his manager know the deal.

The issue is the compensation to us.

For example. The deal might be 800k per year.

But if only 700k is guaranteed and 100k is bonus related to the brownlow and winning the flag.

It’s band 2 compensation.

But if we want 13 to agree to let him go… they would need to reduce the bonuses and increase the guaranteed salary

I notice you left out…

Colin Sylvia
Chris Masten
Jared Brennan
Lachie Hansen
Xavier Ellis
Stephen Hill
Dom Tyson
Sam Day,
and Lachie Plowman

Didn’t suit the narrative?
Stephen Hill was a gun
Ellis a decent player too (he's a bust though because he's added on 75kg since retiring and busted a few buttons on one of his shirts recently).

Full day on the tools today just to change things up (yep, still got it - eating out of the palm of my incredible hand they were), got any goss for me boss?
  • Confirmed lady doing splits in the dunny was Dan McStay's missus - he's a romantic type evidently
  • Adrian 'The Prince' Dodoro headlining The Age and looking like a young Alphonse Gangitano. The legend grows.
  • Value of Gresham's eyebrows have stalled the deal - may be completed at the stroke of midnight on the final day from all reports now.
  • Goldstein interviewed about a string of child abductions across Melbourne from 2006-2022. Bombers got wind and were very impressed - signed immediately, mugshot used for photoshop of GoLdY in Essendon colours.
  • Pat Cash signed 10 year deal with Dogs and now rest of league after first round compensation for having to witness the grotesque white tennis headband float about on national TV across the country.
  • Billings imitating the poor homeless bloke on Flinders St that draws sketches of Flinders St station in the mornings for the last 10 years - looking for a home, won't find one. Odds on to win Sandy B&F in 2024.

Lets see what else shakes loose after a hectic day of wheeling and dealing xo

Impressive.

Obviously not her first toilet cubicle.

She knew how to work the angles

Having spoken to the Bombers, they’re adamant they will not part with pick No.9 in the draft, for either Gresham or Duursma, and that if the Saints match the Gresham free agency offer – as is their right – then he won’t be an Essendon player.

The Gresham offer will not be in the same league as the McKay contract, which was north of $800,000 and thus earned the Roos the outrageous returnof pick No.3 in the national draft for a player who has played 71 games in eight seasons, and is not in the same performance postcode of contemporaries Jacob Weitering or Harris Andrews.

Sounds like Essendon are going to lowball Gresham. Band 2 or even band 3.

Typical Dodoro. Convince the player to declare to his club and then fail to do what is necessary to get the deal done.

If I was a betting man I’d be laying a wager that we match Essendon’s offer and he stays with us. If it’s not band one then I hope we do match.

And then Gresh rips the jabbers apart every time we play them.

How would we feel to retain Gresh for $700k per year plus incentives

If he earns the incentives then he is worth every cent.

If he doesn’t play well then the incentives are irrelevant.

$700k is over the odds but so be it. He is at the peak of his powers. Maybe we look back and give thanks that he stayed with us. I’m happy if we do it.

they are a laughingstock of a club, 71 games in 8 years, not even averaging half a season's worth of games a year and paying the guy $800k+

They love players who can't get on the park consistently don't they?

if they won't trade for Gresham and it was a choice between keeping Gresham or getting pick 19 or 20, then welcome back Gresh!

AFL prepping them as the Tassie team? 🤷🏼‍♂️
My daughter just came back from Tassie where she met up with a few friends who have family down there. She said locals were vocal about the proposed stadium and not one she met supported it, strongly opposed. I can see north continuing to play games down there but it’s hard not to think this Tassie team might not get up after all.

Goldstein warrant out for child abductions and now I see McKay is making videos from solitary confinement

They're a bloody weird bunch

Goldy also slipped up with a "we" and us" narrative then ending on a "the Bombers" just to show that the warrant is probably legit and the man can't lie to save his life.

Though he did name his 2 mates there, one of them is the coach.
