We’re unsure. At this stage it looks like SOS has personally called his counterpart at every other club to inform them that despite all rumours to the contrary Dougal Howard is definitely NOT being shopped around, but he is prepared to listen to all offers just for shits and giggles.

From someone who hasn’t been following saints and is only aware that Dougal can’t crack their (admittedly very decent) defensive unit I was wondering how far off the f2 we’ll get for McAdam is.

He played most games when fit and Lyon did say he regretted not playing him in the EF. He’s very much a best 22 player, and I’m not a big fan of Howard. I’ve heard internally that Lyon doesn’t rate him very highly (as evidenced by the fact he’s available) but he’s best 22 for us.

Him not cracking our defensive unit was actually him playing every game as our starting full back until he broke his wrist, had 6 weeks out injured and then wasn't selected to come straight back in for the finals since Cordy had been performing in the role.

A future 2nd tied to a team who will finish top 4 is well off the mark.

Yeah was in the 22 all year, until he injured himself, then his replacement was in good form going to finals. Definitely not a case of not being able to crack into the defensive unit. But also not a shining example of someone being critical to the team either if you get my point.

I would prefer to keep him if we don't trade in another kpd.

Pick 21 for Gresh is pretty decent! Happy with the Henry deal too. Has the Dow situation cooled? Or is it a part of the rumour of something v large brewing (or was that bullshit)?

When Carlton get Hollands Dow will be even more superfluous to their needs…deal to us should be done today, also the Coff deal
