yeah 3 3rds. Resource - FUTURE PICKS - 2024 Provisional AFL Draft Order (based on 2023 ladder)What have we ended up with? 3 3rds?
A Pick 3 and a pick 8 walk out the door for a packet of twisties each having significantly underachieved. Why we have struggled so much over the last decade.
As the smoke clears and screams die out, Hunter Clark and Ben Paton slowly rise out of the bushes and, exchanging relieved looks, creep ever forward.
Short term I agree. But playing Billings wouldn’t have been the difference between winning and losing verses GWS.You don’t think we’d have looked better in that final with Billings playing instead of Pou or windy who were completely out of their depth?
We’re still paying the contract so what do we gain? One more spot from the VFL pool.
Noticed him much more in a bad way towards the end of the year.I rated him early this year. Looked banged up and slow by the end of the year. I reckon if he starts like he finished he's going to be struggling to play regular footy.
Just pretend we drafted Sinclair at number 1 in 2014.To go with the mccartin, Goddard, lonie - only McKenzie from that hanging by a thread.
The list managers only come out at night, mostly...Whilst McKenzie is left to pick up his own crutches, realises he can't and starts clawing at the ground, fingernails white with tension and exhaustion, gasping for sweet air, as his poor legs flop feebly behind him; birds prey circling him from above in anticipation. The light of the sun, though not hot...blinds his eyes. McKenzie, determined to the last, cries in anguish.
"Wait guys...I'm also here."
Clark and Paton exchange looks. Paton imploring Clark to go back and help with their fallen comrade.
Clark, eyes hazy but full of steely resolve lights up a beadie and inhales it's god awful smoke.
"Do what you want Pato...I signed a two year extension but narry two weeks ago"
Paton stares at his friend curiously, looking behind Clark as McKenzie perseveres, sweat upon his brow, slowing and tremulously inching his way forward to what he believes will be both salvation and redemption.
" But why...why were you hiding in the bushes." Paton asks, voice quivering.
"I wasn't hiding...it's just where I sleep sometimes."
* Slow work day for me.

He’s not best 22
He’s injury prone
He’s on a fair whack of a contract
Turns 29 next year
Wants a fresh start
Take the emotion out of it and it’s a sensible trade.
Hopefully we can bundle them up to get back into the second round
We might have looked better, but the development of Pou and Windy was far more important. You don’t think we’d have looked better in that final with Billings playing instead of Pou or windy who were completely out of their depth?

I know it's cherry picking but jeebus thats some ordinary yearsActually just looking at this, we've closed the book on two fairly undistinguished off-seasons.
2013 off-season: Billings, Dunstan, Acres, Templeton, Weller, Holmes, Bruce, Delaney, Longer, Savage
DONE with Billings leaving
2015 off-season: Gresham, White, Rice, O'Kearney, Coughlan, Carlisle, Freeman
DONE with Gresham leaving
And now down to only two remaining from a couple of other off-seasons.
2017 off-season: Clark, Coffield, Clavarino, Paton, Langlands, Austin
2018 off-season: King, Bytel, Parker, Hind, Young, Wilkie, Marsh, Rowe, Mayo, Hannebery, Kent, Alabakis
Ah the memories.
Jesus that just what we don't need. There are so many more needs than another King.
He's got a chance of a flagUnless we finish bottom 6 and he is wearing a premiership medallion next year. Then he's a massive campaigner and Sos is massive idiot.
You can look at 2011 to 2020 for a real fun timeI know it's cherry picking but jeebus thats some ordinary years
Your user name and avatar live to fight another dayWe go into next year with Dougal still our number 1 key defender thankfully
