We strongly want a club to take Tauru before us so that one of the available top six mids falls to us at pick #7.

If North take one of those mids at pick #2 then the odds of one of those mids falling to us falls dramatically.

We will threaten to take Tauru if he is available with our second pick (pick #8) - giving clubs like NM time to make outrageous bids for our pick #8.

We could extend the time before we take Tauru by bidding for both Essendon and GC Academy picks, after they match, either club could offer us 2 x F1 for pick #8, so could WCE, all NM can do is F1 and F2
Do not wanna lose a Top 10 this year just to buy into a massively compromised draft next year. No thanks, Id rather use OUR F1 to get more from this year

That’s a lot of 6-6-6 free kicks…

Good thing we’ve got 16 blokes back there to clean it up. You ****ing genius Ross…

It's not like we win centre clearances anyway right?

So giving away a 6-6-6 freekick with a stacked backline every centrebounce isn't as insane as it sounds.

Sweat on the turnover, then pagans paddock our way to a flag.

The unfortunate thing is North done have any decent picks this year to give us. 8 for their F1 seems pointless.

GC need points next year so they won't be in the mix. WC also need to hold assets for Warner play next year. NM would need approval for trading F1 and F2, can you even get AFL sign off for that in the 5 minute pick window?

And we won't trade with Essendon because **** Essendon
GC have 3 X F1's
Essendon no longer have the worst recruiter in the AFL

I think Travaglia is a lock for us tonight. On paper, he's the prototype Ross Lyon player.
I get the endurance/running just don't get the average kicking skills part

Alright hear me out, Andrew Thompson and Justin Koschitzke are presenting the jumpers tonight. Kosi is a former pick #2. We're trading 7 & F1 for 2, Kosi presents the jumper to #2 pick. Thompson presents pick 8.

It could happen...

Thommo the great man that fired Scott Watters and replaced him with Richo.

Good times all round

His kicking isn't all that bad, it is certainly better than Bo Allan's.
It is only when he tries to kick it long he can lob it too high, his short passes are spot on.
He is a skinny kid. A couple of preseasons will put more muscle on him and his accurate, low trajectory short passes will get some distance. With BJ coaching Sandy, you don't think he will focus on kicking skills?

Everyone, get this meme ready when Norf and Tiges (or Crom) do a pick swap at the start of the night

Excited Arrested Development GIF

From what I’ve seen in the highlights
Kicking skill:
Allan>Trav>Tauru

BJ's primary focus will be on how to undermine the structural integrity of the snack tables
I hope so!
He’s a great leader with high standards and hates losing.
Still remember him smacking the Lollys off the table and Heppell says calm down mate it doesn’t matter if we lose.
Then they made heppel captain and that set them for a decade of mediocrity.

Between BJ and Bolton there will be lollys and biscuits getting smacked out of hands left right and centre.

No snacks unless you get the W boys!
