I wanna know, how we choose both Cole & Hoffman, what picks do we have.
If it's with picks 32 & 47 to match their bids, are they worth it?
Seems like Peckett might get to us as a FS/Sandy rookie?
We have picks 47, 80, 88

A bid for Cole is expected before 47 but after 32

47 (expected to be around 41) will be used to match that bid and should suffice without needing further picks if the bid comes at pick 36 or thereafter. If not, 80 is expected to come in to around pick 70 which can be used to make up the difference. Worst case scenario is that this is still inadequate, in which case we will go into deficit in 2025 for our second round pick - but this is almost impossible if 47 ends up being 41

If a bid for Hofmann comes in after pick 56, pick 88 would suffice. Essentially all you need to match a bid after this point is a vacant senior list spot - which is highlighted by the extra pick in the latter rounds

Peckett, if he gets through the national draft (which is expected), can be pre-listed as a rookie by the club as part of our rights to retain priority access to him. We won't need to draft him in the rookie draft

Think we will be aiming for Cole to be nominated after pick 41 (nee 47).

The Saints hold picks 7 and 8 and rivals aren’t ruling out the prospect of them using one of those picks on a player like Shanahan.

If he gets past his childhood club, he is expected to be picked up with a selection in the teens, being linked to the likes of Fremantle, Greater Western Sydney, Port Adelaide and Sydney.

I would much prefer Shanahan to Armstrong and perhaps pick #8 is where it is at, but suspect he would be an option after we split pick #8. I dont put any credence in where so called experts rate players, its where our recruiters rate them that matters.

So basically we've interviewed him multiple times as part of our due diligence on the 10-20 range so if we get 15&16, we'll take him
I dare say any prospect rated 10-40 we’d be doing due diligence on you’d hope. We have pick 32 and there could be someone we value a ‘teens’ pick that slides to there and we swoop. Imagine draft night and someone slides down and we have pick 32 and we go ‘ahhh I think he’s good but we haven’t done our due diligence on him’

Will put my house on we don’t. I’m that confident come draft night if we hold 7/8 one of them will be Reid and the other will be the sliding mid

Just heard news out of RSEA park, Simon Dalrymple has requested an open for inspection and will make his decision in the coming days. Pick a mid, or grab a house, only time will tell...
