I reckon the tigers go Jagga over Smillie.

But

Smillie over Langford.

Man I would ****ing love Langford.
What makes langford so likeable?

I can't get my head around him being a good fit for us or even being in the top 2 tiers of the mids in this draft. I might just have it out for him though, could be really one eyed about it.

So I wonder what this is roughly looking like now… will probably still need an Adelaide North trade.

But…

FOS richmond
Lalor crows
Draper blues
Tauru North
Langford Melbourne
Jagga Richmond
Smillie Us
You think North do the trade even after Cal said it seemed unlikely?

Arguably the best season out do anyone in this draft class.

Pure football ability. Goes inside can play outside. Goes forward and kicks goals.

Slow but has a massive motor.

Good hands both marking and in close.

Runs on the board, more than most other prospects.
Stats, disposals, clearances, best ons.
His pace tge only question mark I believe.

If we ended up with Smillie, Reid would be a really nice compliment to that pick in my opinion.

With his size, there has to be some thought that Smillie becomes a forward.

Smillie on a forward/mid rotation with Owens and Pou would be pretty sweet.

I definitely think he's better than smillie. Just from what I've seen, I cant get my head around him being the best fit for our midfield or our forward line. We need tacklebreakers desperately.

If you are taking Tauru.

Why wouldn’t you slide down and grab an asset?

If Lalor isn’t the pick 1 lock. It changes things abit as well.
That's the thing...do North take Tauru or do they take FOS as a Thomas replacement?

If Cal is reporting a North trade is unlikely despite it yielding free assets, then unless they're more stupid than we thought, they want FOS

Am leaning towards adding Allan, mainly because Joffaboy seems insistent on calling him Allen for his whole career. It's already affecting my blood pressure readings.

There is a Beau Allen NFL player apparently. Nickname was the Butter King. Good on the spread I guess, knowing nothing about NFL.
Sorry but regardless of how he spells it I prefer Allen.
To avoid confusion I will refer to him as Bo Callaghan from now on.

I assume they are not trading now, and taking FOS, that’s why blues have moved to plan B, Draper.

Not a fit, but best available.
I think Allan a great fit for us, but it would be negligent to overlook Langfords pedigree to take him instead.

Maybe.

But Cal and nobody else could rule out Tauru going there.

The Roos also like Draper aswell apparently.

The mind games are really ramping up now.

Multiple teams suddenly interested in Draper and Tauru. Lalor not a lock at pick #1. Amstrong going anywhere from 5-8. Reid going anywhere from 5-15. Bo Allan a lock at the Saints... unless Reid and/or Armstrong get through.

Gut feel is that we are in the perfect spot TBH.

We get who we want at 7 and then the offers are going to come flying in for pick 8 to nab Armstrong before the Dees or Reid/Allan if teams rate them. Does someone blink for Travaglia? Port, GWS and WCE all apparently keen on him.

We also have our F1st as the wildcard. Don't discount us taking 7+8 and then using our F1st to grab one of the GWS/Rich picks, or maybe the Swans in a deal, to land another player we rate.

Pretty keen for night 1!

Fair enough. If it were up to me id be gambling on draper all the way. Would rather someone I think could actually win games for us then players in the "nice to have" group.
I like Draper too, I agree I’d gamble on him before Langford, but we are talking about who will be at 7 and right now looking more likely Langford than Draper and that’s if either make it which is looking less likely at the moment.

Oh nah, when i said i'd gamble on draper i meant id trade whatever needs to be traded for pick 2.
